Pura Luhur Batukaru Review

This is one of the six temples in Bali, impressive and well worth a visit. There are beautiful lake views. The temple building itself is also spectacular, especially the gate. Note that children will not come to this temple until they are the age when they start to grow permanent teeth. The admission fee is 20,000 rupees. I was surprised that there were not many tourists visiting the temple. I went to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces the day before, so I lived in a homestay near this temple. I came to visit it the next morning. There were few tourists. I needed cheap tickets and sarongs to enter. The main locals were all locals. The entrance of the entire temple was full of moss. The nearby area was very humid. The temple is not big for about 30 minutes. There is a big fish pond behind the temple. If you live nearby, you can come and visit this moss-covered hidden temple the next morning.
