Quanzhou Nanshaolin is located at the top of Fengshan on the left side of the main scenic spot of Qingyuan Mountain, 12 kilometers away from Quanzhou City, also known as the Guodong Chan Temple in the town, commonly known as Nanshaolin. It is rumored to be built by one of the three monks who saved the Tang Wang. Quanzhou Nanshaolin was built in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the two Songs. It has a history of thousands of years. After several times of prosperity and waste, the historical traces are still there. Today's South Shaolin was donated by overseas Chinese on the original site in the 1990s. In 2004, Jin Yong's trip to Quanzhou, for Shaolin Temple, the title: "Shaolin martial arts, long-lasting, coming to the south, Guangda forward" 16 words, and then Jin Yong's new version of martial arts novels in Nan Shaolin changed to Quanzhou Nan Shaolin.
