在拉卜楞寺的范围的周边，从夏河县城过去半个小时左右，教寺很高大，以藏民特色的红墙以外立面，庄重典雅，在蓝天白云的映衬下格外靓丽，背靠翠绿是群山，里面有讲经，但需要买门票才能进去。甚至运气好的话还能看到酥油花。

时间有富裕可以前往逛逛看看，有些历史讲解还是不错的。
