Restaurant Szep llona Vendeglo Review

This is a place I like to visit during the summer season as I love its garden terrace in a leafy district of the Hungarian capital's Buda side. Getting there is very easy also by public transport as the bus 22 or 22A from 'Szell Kalman ter' stops right in front of the restaurant. If you widh to have a meal here over the weekend, advance booking of a table is recommended as it is always full in lunch time. The service is polite and the food is nice and fresh, when chosen from the chef's daily offers, that include seasonal dishes. Yesterday I had a delicious, cold peach soup and an excellent fried catfish fillet, coated in almond flakes. Melon with icecream was the dessert and the total price of these 3 courses excl. drinks was HUF 4950 (cca € 15) which I consider a reasonable charge.
