River Cam Review

Beautiful landscape well worth visiting while in Cambridge. A lovely way to spend an afternoon walking by this river

Cambridge University Jianhe is very well-known, high school students have learned Xu Zhimo's "in the soft waves of the Kanghe, I am willing to do a water grass", has always felt that Kanghe is more beautiful than the translation of the Jianhe.

River Cam is a small river around the main city of Cambridge. "Cam" is the meaning of English raised. Jianhe has a large glyph in the main campus of Cambridge University. It is called Jianhe by Chinese students from Shanghai and Guangdong who came to Cambridge in the early years. Cam is pronounced like a "sword" in the Shanghai and Guangdong dialects.

一般来剑桥的人，都知道她是英国最著名的两座大学城，稍文艺的还会说出徐志摩的再别康桥。如果有时间，可以在剑河上买票租船，坐着8人一艘的撑篙船游览。慢慢的欣赏和两岸的叹息桥，康桥，三一学院，国王学院，学生宿舍食堂等。撑船的帅小伙，一看就是精心挑选出来，特别打扮的。据说很多都是剑桥的学生兼职。一边划船，一边还会用慢速简单的英文给你讲两岸景色建筑的历史掌故，比自己看要了解的多。十多年前，在剑河另一个码头，当时可以合租一个六人小船，自己撑篙游览，大约8.5英镑每小时每条船，曾经学着电影小兵张嘎里面那样撑船，无奈没经验，一开始就打转，不过很快就能掌握这门技术，之字形的撑着船前进了。这次游览没有看到自己撑船的，原先的码头也不开了，不知道是不是安全原因，有些遗憾。

剑河是剑桥大学的灵魂，整个剑桥大学就是沿着剑河而展开，而剑河上最有名的便是划船，划着一艘艘小船行驶在平静的剑河上，欣赏着两岸的风光，尤其是这座世界著名的剑桥大学，那真的是心情大好，仿佛自己也变得很有学问了。
