Ruen Thai Restaurant, this is a local and quite distinctive Southeast Asian restaurant, the main is also Thai delicious, as soon as you enter the door, there is a strong curry taste, people's appetite.

Visited as part of a large party, but the service was first class. Food was delicious. Will definitely return and thoroughly recommend.

I have dined here several times and have never been disappointed, either with the food or service. On this occasion there were seven of us on a busy Saturday evening. From the moment you step through the door, the staff are brilliant, very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a variety of starters and mains, all of which were enjoyed. As usual I had my favourite starter - crispy deep fried Thai spring rolls stuffed with minced chicken and vegetables, served with sweet sour chilies sauce dip. I have eaten at other Thai restaurants and this beats the others for the food, ambience and staff. This is one restaurant which I will be returning to.

Authentic Thai food, very tasty. Great service as well. We had a prawn stir-fry, a prawn curry and some som tam. The som tam was traditional Thai style and made to order for my partner (who is Thai).

We like Thai food and haven't been to Ruen for a long time so decided to meet up with friends for a catch up. Our table was booked for 6.45pm on a Saturday and when we entered it was quiet but within an hour the restaurant was full so I would recommend booking especially on a weekend. The 4 of us all ordered different starters and main dishes and all of were extremely happy with the quality of the food. I had the Jungle curry as my main dish and if you like it hot then I can highly recommend this dish. The pricing for all 4 of us with 2 bottles of red wine was less than £30 each which is good value in my opinion for the food, service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back for another meal in the near future.
