Sainokawara Park is located 20 minutes away from Yubatake. If you do visit Kusatsu Onsen, don’t forget to go to this beautiful park.

It is a very beautiful place in Kusatsu onsen, worth a visit. It is unique that reflects the way of life of Japan as well. A short walk from the city center.

It was a gentle slope. My feet are bad, but it is recommended for a walk.

When I came to Kusatsu, I had to go to Sainokawara Park for a visit. This is really a local landmark attraction. The most iconic here is the natural hot spring in the park. This hot spring is an open public hot spring, but one thing to note is that the spring water that is not too close to certain places will be hot. This open-air public hot spring is called public style, not very expensive, only 600 yen a person, to bring their own towel supplies, you can smell a strong sulfur smell on the edge. It's quite comfortable to soak. Sainokawara Park The red leaves of the park are better in autumn, especially in late autumn, the leaves of the maple trees in the park are red, and the dense leaves are stretched, like fireworks burning on the sky. If you have time, I plan to come here in autumn to see, while enjoying the red leaves while soaking in the hot springs, it must be very pleasant.
