Sassi di Matera Review

The Sassi were definitely beautiful, especially in the evening or at night. Coming here during Christmas time and you can see the nice holiday decorations, special markets, and a nice holiday vibe. weather was also great!

We set off from Bari Port and it was well worth an hour drive one way. It was very interesting to stand on old land and learn about the history of this very special place. It was a walk and staircase but it was worth it! There are lots of restaurants to enjoy while you are there. The city is lovely too.

Matella Stone City, although it seems to be a not very big ancient city today, in the era of the time, it was enough to build such a city in such a place to prove the greatness and clever wisdom of mankind. The Grand Canyon of the ancient city formed a natural fortress. Today we see beautiful scenery, perhaps there have been countless battles and killings here
