The Seattle Central Library itself is the Seattle Public Library System in the United States. The exhibition hall is located in downtown Seattle, taking Bus 2 to Spring St and getting off at 4th Ave Station is a 56-metre-high building of glass and steel. Although it looks like a building with a sense of overall design, there are 11 separate pavilions on its facade. Although, when the library opened, the exhibition, designed by Rem Koolhaas, was challenged by controversy over several separate "floating platforms" and the design of spider webs, as well as the bold planning of Hoffman Construction Company, the general contractor in Portland. However, the 34,000 square meters public library, apparently in real use, has won a lot of love and support. It contains about 1.45 million books and other materials, including more than 400 computers open to the public and an underground public parking lot. Of course, besides our library, there are many small branches under the name of the Central Library. Among them, Broadview Branch, Madrona's Sally Goldmark Branch and Broadview Branch are the most distinctive ones. Although they are small in size, they also have their own special collections. As far as our library is concerned, the Central Library of this young city is fully endowed with the character and spirit of the city itself. Although the opening hours of the library are from 10:00 to 20:00 from Monday to Thursday and from 10:00 to 18:00 from Friday to Sunday, there are still many outdoor performances here even after 6:00 p.m. In 2007, the library was rated 150 favorites by the American Institute of Architects. One of the buildings (ranked 108), but the wayward curator is obviously very confident about his outdoor space. Libraries often hold many outdoor reading and creative activities. Universities in Seattle regularly hold a series of activities such as Global Reading with libraries. In Seattle, young people and children, this is a central reading space with strong family affinity. Meanwhile, let everyone depend on it very much. Local residents and students can apply for library membership free of charge and receive regular notifications of activities. And the most perfect and first-class lending system here also enables readers to borrow books and videos of different styles within a fixed period of time and make full use of their resources.
