Shangshan Lake Review

Shangshan Lake is known as the holy land of Lushan on the east side of the Laojun Palace of Lushan. Shangshan Lake is an artificial lake built on the mountain. It is only half the size of a football field and is crescent-shaped. It is surrounded by mountains on the inside and low columns on the outside. There are paths more than two meters wide under the column. The name of Shangshan Lake comes from the eighth chapter of Laozi's "Moral Sutra", which takes the meaning of goodness as water, reflecting Laozi's thought of "goodness and profit all things without dispute". Although the lake is not big, the scenery is very wonderful. The lake is full of water lilies. Through the clear lake, you can see the fish swimming. It is leisurely and refreshing. In autumn, go to the green lake to reflect the colorful mountains and forests, and the old king's palace echo, in one, the scenery is more beautiful.

I heard that this is an artificial lake artificially carved on the mountain of Lushan. If you come early, you can take a tour! Our family came out of the hotel some late and only visited several famous attractions in Lushan.
