Shanhaiguan is located 15 kilometers northeast of Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, 380 kilometers from Beijing, 243 kilometers from Tianjin and 461 kilometers from Shenyang. It is an ancient building of the Great Wall Guanlou built here by Xu Da, a general of the Ming Dynasty. It is famous Shanhaiguan because it relies on Yanshan Mountain in the north and Bohai Sea in the south. The city is 14 metres high and 7 metres thick. The original four gates are all built towers. Now there are only the east gate towers, i.e. the world's first gate the gate towers, facing the outside, with 68 arrow windows, known as Pingham, Beijing Normal University, Liao Zuo Yanhou so-called. The world's first plaque, more than 5 meters long and 1.5 meters high, was written by Xiao Xian, a famous calligrapher of the Ming Dynasty, with regular scripts and vigorous brushwork. Four kilometers away from Shanhaiguan, there is an old dragon head at the East starting point of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. The Great Wall meets the sea, with golden sand in the blue sea and vast momentum.
