Shaoshuai Zen Garden Review

Regarding Shaoshuai Zhang Xueliang, I think it is a non-result in history. It is not a big place, but whether it is a house or a garden, it is quite beautiful. It is more about introducing Shaoshuai's life in Taiwan.

Beitou Day: Beitou Hot Spring Museum - the most beautiful library - Kaida Grand Cultural Museum (not allowed in the maintenance) - Meiting - Shaoshuai Zen Garden - Beitou Cultural Heritage Museum. After a long time of visiting, I couldn’t walk. I took a taxi to Shaoshuai Zen Garden (on the mountain, there are several uphills). Just soak in my feet and rest. The environment here is very beautiful, that is, the weather is hot, and the view on the mountain is not super good. You can see the heat from the geothermal valley hot springs. There is also a smell of sulfur in the air. There are exquisite meals here, soaking feet for 200 Taiwan dollars per person.

There are only two things worth doing in Beitou: soaking in hot springs. 2 - Visit Shaoshuai Zen Garden and have dinner. In the morning, I soaked the centuries-old soup hot spring, then walked about 15 minutes to Shaoshuai Zen Garden, ordered Shaoshuai's private meal, 1500 NT + 10 [%] service fee. If you want to order Zhao's four sets of meals, you must book them three days in advance. There are cars to take guests to Beitou MRT station at 15 and 45 minutes per hour. It's great! The picture is a young handsome meal! Can eat enough!

Shaoshuai Chanyuan is the place where Zhang Xueliang was placed under house arrest in Taiwan, and also a comfort home under Japanese rule. Despite these historical backgrounds, this is a place worth visiting. Because I think there is Zen in life everywhere! Also because it is located in Taipei's famous Beitou hot spring area, so the hot spring here is very famous, where the independent room soaks soup, there are two hot and cold areas, very comfortable, genuine, very good enjoyment! _________

Shaoshuai Zen Garden was where Chiang Kai-shek banned Zhang Xueliang from Taipei, and later Zhang Xueliang and his wife bought the land and became the longest place where Shaoshuai lived in Taiwan. The environment is very quiet, because the buildings left by the Japanese in the early days were rebuilt, the overall Zen style was full, and the commanding heights of Beitou were very good. However, Shaoshuai Zen Garden is still far from Beitou MRT Station. It is more difficult to walk to. It is more convenient to take a bus or taxi. Because it is privately operated, it is better to treat it as a restaurant or a bathing place than a scenic spot. If the economic strength is good, you can experience their dining area (lunch or dinner), afternoon tea is not recommended for individuals, the soup house or foot bath is OK, you can deduct the ticket fee, and the leisure is better.

Beitou Shaoshuai Zen Garden is Zhang Xueliang's former residence in Taipei, it is really a very simple courtyard!
