Songhetang was built in Tongzhi, Qing Dynasty, in 1869. The owner Wang Tianci was a devout believer in Buddha, so he built the house to change the habit of sitting north and south, and built the house "to the east and west" to show "face to the bliss, heart as come." Songhetang covers an area of 320 square meters and a building area of 460 square meters. The whole house is composed of the main house (main hall), Mingxuan, Shuiyu, kitchen and the East Courtyard (back house), the West Courtyard (front house), and the North Garden (right). The courtyard door faces west and the garden gate faces north. The artificial water system - the water town is flowing through the garden. The owner dug two fish ponds in the garden, called "Dianchi Pool", take "drain water into the room, dig water home" to show the meaning of "gain wealth" and "family flourishing". At the same time, it is used as a fire sanctuary. It also adds interest.
