Spirscherard Castle, Slovakia: Fortress in the Untouchable Fields Cold and majestic in many European countries, few people will choose Slovakia for tourism. But if you are as interested in ancient castles as I am, make sure to visit Slovakia, one of the most castles in the country. The Spice Herald castle recommended to everyone is completely different from the mysterious and majestic castle we have in our impression. It stands at the top of the mountain, surrounded by endless fields. The whole castle is particularly cold and severe, but also very magnificent. It is a huge complex of over 40,000 square meters. But, I am sorry to tell you, we can't see the whole castle today. More than 200 years ago, a fire destroyed the structure. However, even if there are only ruins left, we can vaguely feel the magnificent and meticulousness of the whole castle, and we have to admire the shock left by the ancient architecture! No wonder, as early as 1991, Spisherard Castle was rated as a World Heritage Site. More worth mentioning, the castle is also closely connected to many military elements, with the stone-cast exterior walls to resist foreign invasion, the yard has a defense room, even a fortress. Although the castle was once eroded by fire, we can still see these vicissitudes of military installations when we visit it.
