If you are after a casual dining and drinking experience like we were on a Sunday evening do yourself a favour and go to Square Delicatessen (SD). This is an Italian establishment which serves great pizza squares which have a light crust with many different flavour combinations available. They also serve a range of fresh salads, Italian beers and wines. We only wished we had left enough room to try their home made Italian desserts and Italian coffee. What really made our experience great was the service we received from one of the young guys who was serving - his patience and suggestions were all great. If you want something casual and Italian in the centre of Strasbourg try SD.

The room space is not small, the environment is not bad, suitable for many people to eat.

I accidentally stumbled upon this little restaurant when all others coffee shops were closed on a Thursday evening! The waitress was lovely and the prices were not too expensive (as they usually are in the centre city). It is perfect for a quick snack. The atmosphere is chilled with good background music.

Dropped by to have something to eat and coffee while explorinh Strasbourg. The same staff were very warm and helpful. The place looks very cool and chic also. It's probably one of the cafes in town that's open before 11am. The pastries were good and I couldn't have enough of the coffee. Prices were reasonable also and not like a tourist trap even if the place was located in the middle of a tourist area.

As with most of Europe, Sunday's tend to be very, very quiet. My wife and I were heading to Alsace for the next three days and looking for breakfast before we started our journey. Fortunately Square was close to our hotel. Good french breakfast menu with wide selection of coffee drinks, breads, eggs, etc. Not spectacular, just good reasonably priced breakfast. Worked well and the wait staff was fantastic by the way.
