Down from Edinburgh Castle and down Royal Mile Avenue, you can find a cathedral, St. Gills Cathedral, the main cathedral of Edinburgh. The whole church is based on Gothic style. The top of the tower is designed with Scottish crown. It is beautiful and distinctive. There are no tickets for the visitors, but it costs 2 euros to take photos. The staff will put a label on their clothes. Although many tourists have been photographed without labels, it is better to comply with the regulations. The reliefs in the whole church are very beautiful. The pillars and domes in the church are made of large blocks of neat bricks and stones. The colours are different. They are very simple. The coloured windows around them are bigger and more transparent than the churches in France.
