St. Istvan's Cathedral is a church built in 1851 to commemorate the 1,000th anniversary of Hungary's founding, and the church was finally built in 1905. St. Stephen's Cathedral is located on Andras Street, with its minarets 96 meters high and the largest church in Budapest. The cathedral is magnificent and the hall is large enough to accommodate thousands of people at the same time. The statues and paintings inside the church are worth seeing. Tickets are not required for church visits, but tickets are not allowed for the catacombs and photographs are not allowed.

St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest is a breathtaking masterpiece of neoclassical architecture. Its grandeur, highlighted by the towering dome and ornate interior, leaves visitors in awe. The panoramic views from the dome are a highlight. However, long lines and crowds can detract from the experience.

One of the highlights of my trip to Budapest. This Basilica's design is otherworldly, pictures are not enough to describe how amazing it is.

Beautiful ornate building which is a must see when in Budapest. Definitely get up to the top level for the views. There’s a lift about half way the you’re on the stairs which can be a bit daunting but worth the effort for sure

St. Stephen's Basilica is a Roman Catholic basilica in Budapest, Hungary. It is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary, whose right hand is housed in the reliquary. Since the renaming of the primatial see, it has been the co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest
