Sun and Moon Towers, located in the center of Guilin City, were rebuilt in 2001 on the basis of Buddhist pagodas of the Tang Dynasty. They are new landmarks of Guilin City. The Sun Tower is a copper tower, 41 meters high, with 9 floors; the moon tower is a glazed tower, 35 meters high, with 7 floors. The two towers are connected by an underwater aquarium 18 meters long. The Copper Tower has set three world records: the tallest Copper Tower, the tallest Copper Building and the tallest Water Tower. During the tour around the lake, you can see the twin towers from different angles. The twin towers of the sun and the moon have become a scenic spot for viewing the essence of Guilin city. At night, the sun and moon towers are particularly beautiful. The lights of the towers are all on, and the lake has a different view in white and yellow.
