Sun Ke Villa was built in the early 30s and was a residence where Sun Ke lived for a long time during his stay in Shanghai, where Sun Ke and his original wife Chen Yuying lived. This building is mainly Spanish style, and also contains some elements of the Italian Renaissance and Baroque and Gothic architecture. The roof cylindrical tiles we can still see today, the fish scales on the facade, the pointed coupon arch, the internal rope column, Cross vaults and cast iron railings are the main features of the above styles. The asymmetric design of the building also reveals that Daq dares to try the bold innovation of modernism. Every detail inside and outside the house is tried to be perfect, the Chinese style decoration in the garden, the indoor teak stairs and the rosy floor made of willow wood, etc., each show the dignity and luxury of the former owner of the house.
