The Temple of the Victory of Athens is a temple on the Acropolis dedicated to the goddess Athena Nike. Built in 420 BC, it is the earliest All-Ionik Temple on the Acropolis. It is a prominent position on the steep fortress of Propylaea in the southwest corner of the Acropolis. Compared to the Acropolis, there is a walled sanctuary that enters through Propylaea, from the southwestern wing of Propylaea and the narrow staircases of the north. The west and south protect the cliffs of its fortress to celebrate victory and sacrifice their goddess of victory.
