The Cenotaph Review

The Hong Kong Peace Monument (Cenotaph) is located in Chateau Road, Central, and was erected in 1923 to commemorate the martyrs of the two wars. There are three flag poles on the front and back of the monument, with wreaths carved to symbolize mourning for the dead, and the words "The Immortal of the Soul" and English "THE GLORIOUS DEAD" are engraved.
