Tongbai Mountain is about 20 kilometers northwest of the county town. The original Tongbaiguan, known as "Jinting Dongtian" in Taoist scriptures, is one of the seventy-two blessed places. It was built by Sima Chengzhen, a Taoist priest in the second year of Jingyun in Tang Dynasty. Zhang Ziyang (Zhang Tianshi) practiced Buddhism here during the reign of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty. There is a famous Chinese Taoist Southern Zong Zuting-Tongbai Palace on the mountain. The scenic area is divided into four distinct areas: Huaiyuan, Taohua Cave, Taibaiding Cave and Shuixian Cave. There are 118 scenic spots such as Shuixian Cave, one of the world's "36 cave days", known as Zuting Yuntai Zen Temple of Baiyun Sect of Buddhism at home and abroad, which is the main peak of Tongbai Mountain at 1140 meters above sea level. In the Han Dynasty, Liu Bang's kinship "Jintaiguan" was built, which was one of the five major Taoist concepts in the country at that time. Zhang Sanfeng, the founder of Wudang School, was here to practise truth. Temples are scattered all over the scenic area, temples are connected, and monks are all over the world.
