Tortuga Etterem Review

Tortuga Étterem is a pirate-themed restaurant, complete with wooden planks, nets, overhanging ropes, mini treasure chests with eating utensils at every table. But my favorite part would be the tables and benches suspended over ponds with turtles and fish! Great, unique touch. The animals were a nice distraction while waiting for your food (but you don't really have to wait long, anyway). We had gulyás, which was really, really wonderful, especially on a chilly night. It was a big serving, so make sure you are really hungry when you visit. This is in a residential place, quite far from the crowds and the city center so I am not sure if they get really crowded. They also have a medium-sized function room, in case you needed a private space for a party. It should be big enough for a group of 20, I think. I would really love to be back to Tortuga! Highly recommended restaurant.

The restaurant follows a pirate theme and has a really unique atmosphere. The tables are like as if you were really on a ship and there are actual turtles under you and all over the room (you are literally sitting above water). The food was nice and the waiter was extremely professional. I had immense fun, wouldn't hesitate going back.

A quirky Pirate themed restaurant with very friendly staff. The Tutles nod fish in the pools, under your table, are a lovely distraction. Beware of eating snacks before you go. The food was lovely and they don't understand 'small' when it comes to portions! Great value and well worth the visit
