The Tower Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the Thames River and is named after the Tower of London. It is the first bridge from the mouth of the Thames and is a symbol of London. It was built in 1886 and opened to the public on June 30, 1894, connecting the north and south of London. Above the two bridge towers, there are suspended sidewalks, flanked by glass windows, visitors can go up through the bridge tower to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Thames River. When we go, the bridge is under maintenance, and the suspended sidewalk above does not go. The bridge tower is set up with stairs, museums, exhibition halls, shops, bars, etc. The Tower Bridge is similar in popularity to the Harbour Bridge in Sydney, the former is the symbol of Sydney, while Tower Bridge is London's most symbolic landmark building and the highest-profile bridge on the Thames. To the north of the tower bridge is the tower of London known as the Forbidden City of England, and to the south is the fragmented building of modern art.
