Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur Review

The palace covers a lot of area and its main building is very European. The whole palace is built of red hard sandstone. The center of the hall is a tall dome surrounded by double-layer colonnades, which looks classical and elegant. Most of the buildings are now luxury hotels, and some of the residences remain in the royal family.

Located in a flowery garden, the golden sandstone building is a geometric and streamlined style popular in the early 20th century. This 347-room palace, completed in 1943 after 15 years of work, is used as the main residence of the Zordepur royal family.

After 9 hours of playing all the way, I finally arrived at the most luxurious hotel on this trip. The Umai Palace is one of the largest private buildings in the world. It completely retains the details and style of royal life. The butler with a face-to-face watch at the door is always followed by the scene of the service of Wang Jiawei's soul. It still has Some of the royal descendants live here. Some of the hotels are museums. Others are hotels.

Dinner is arranged in a very famous local restaurant, you can see the palace from a distance. The waiters are wearing local traditional costumes, and there are musicians playing local traditional folk music in the mat. A round moon hangs above the palace after the meal. Perfect night!

The new palace that once was, is now partly occupied by the descendants of the royal family, part of it has been built as a hotel, and part of it has been built as a museum; 3. The main exhibition in the museum is the picture exhibition about the royal family, and there is no important exhibits, so the ticket is only 100 rupees, about ￥10 yuan; 4. There is an antique car exhibition hall on the other side of the garden, obviously all the older royals stayed, free to visit.
