Underground Railway Museum Review

Budapest Metro Museum is a very important architectural museum in the history of Budapest. Many of the subway structures are also very good.

Small but interesting！Just one room but a lot of information about the transport system in Budapest. Didn’t think it was really worth an entrance fee though～

Budapest Metro Line 1, which opened in 1896, is the second oldest subway in Europe after London Underground. The museum was rebuilt from a new section of the subway tunnel, featuring vehicles and photographs of the time, introducing the ancient history of the subway.

布达佩斯的地铁是欧洲仅次于伦敦的第二个系统 不过这里的地铁车无论是编组还是车型都明显小了很多 甚至和国内的有轨电车差不多不过在地下整个的换乘系统还算比较发达的 就是坐错方向因为不是岛式站台会不方便一些 整个地铁博物馆里用了一部分原来的地铁系统 展示了这个城市骄傲的轨道系统

场馆建在曾经的地铁隧道里面，保留了很多超级古董的地铁车厢和座椅，还有些历史图片可以看到地铁的修缮过程。
