A lovely monastery in Phnom Penh, where meditation is free and open at least three times a week. The monastery is well preserved and is a peaceful place in a busy city. Be sure to come and experience it, remember to leave a little tip for the temple after each meditation (as is customary). Close to the Independence Monument is this colorful Buddhist temple. I came here to see architectural design. Cambodian architectural design is mainly influenced by the Angkor period (the second half of the 8th century to the 15th). If you are here on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and evenings, you can attend a free one-hour Vipassana meditation session.
