The West Gate Tower is a tower at the west gate of the ancient city wall of Canterbury. The ancient city wall of Canterbury is well preserved, there is a long section, pedestrians can walk on it, but the city gate is probably only the West Gate. Walking on the city wall can feel the vicissitudes of history.

Meeting history ⛪ More than half of the journey in the UK has been visited, visited more modern places, and went shopping in places where I thought it was time to go to a place with cultural heritage to show my "gentleness"! But I was really interested in history, so I came to West Gate Tower this time. During the tour, ⛪ originally came here purely to pass by, so I didn't search for pictures. When I searched for maps, I found that it was in two primary schools, which was quite curious. When I arrived, I wanted to pass by but I was shocked. The buildings here are very old, and the sense of age is not because they look dilapidated, but because they have a very cultural historical sense, as if you can see some of the history of the city through this place. The city wall here can walk, whether it is looking at the tower below, or in the city wall, you can feel the strong historical atmosphere, the whole person is quiet, because it always feels that talking more is very damaging the atmosphere. There are no more photos here, but you can use your eyes to feel those cultures. Tips ⛪ The nearby hotels are not bad. Although it looks very historical here, you don't have to be afraid that there is no food and accommodation around. There are everything you should have, and the hotel environment is very good!
