Xerta Restaurant Review

A Spanish-style restaurant in the center of Barcelona, the name of this restaurant is "Xerta Restaurant", which is also a small name! This seafood fried rice is first-class!

We went to Xerta during a vacation to Barcelona. We wanted to experience the local cuisine and Xerta did not let us down. The restaurant had a very relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy a nice conversation while we tasted an explosion of flavors. Watching the chef work was like watching an opera itself. The passion and dedication he puts in every dish is second to none. I highly recommend this place next you are in Barcelona and if you are looking to immerse yourself in the Catalan culture, their degustation experience is a must

The restaurant relied on the hotel bar for cocktails and the bars ended was not very experienced - could not make a Vodka Martini with a lemon twist.This is no fault of the restaurant but waiting for the martini which was made 3 times and he still got it wrong - was an irritation.

The most impressive was the introduction and the presentation of the dishes. The story behind the dishes and the props made the whole dinner as a visit to a theatre.

It is my couple's birthday and we went to there to celebrate the birthday. The foods are delicious and the environment is very nice. Waiters are friendly with their professional service.

The food was excellent with a very good sommelier.
