Xibaipo Memorial Hall is located in Xibaipo Village Xibaipo Village, Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It is the location of the Central Working Committee, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the headquarters of the PLA during the liberation war. Opened to the public on May 26, 1978, covering an area of 13,400 square meters, with a construction area of 3,344 square meters. The theme of Xibaipo Memorial Hall is "New China Comes from Here", and there are five bronze statues of the secretary in front of the door. As of March 2014, Xibaipo Memorial Hall has more than 2,000 revolutionary cultural relics, including 15 of 8 categories of first-class items. The memorial hall is assisted in displaying, through cultural relics, documents, pictures and materials, and reflects the revolutionary practice activities of the CPC Central Committee and leaders during Xibaipo.
