The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum is located at No. 132 Northwest Road, Urumqi City. It is a provincial comprehensive geology museum and is a cultural relics and specimen collection protection, scientific research and publicity and education institution in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum was officially established in 1959. The original museum was initially designed as an agricultural exhibition hall, a mountain-shaped bungalow building, and in 1962 it was moved to the current site and opened to the public. The name of the museum of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was written by Chairman Zhu De, an old revolutionary, during his inspection work in Xinjiang since 1959. The new museum was built in 2005, with a construction area of 17,288 square meters, the basement floor and the second floor above the ground, and the main height is 18.5 meters. The scientific research work of the museum focuses on the collection of cultural relics. The treasure of the Xinjiang Museum Town Hall is the beautiful woman of Loulan, and it is probably also the collection that everyone mentioned that Xinjiang will think of. You can clearly see the muscle pattern and nail hair from a close observation. It is really amazing. Everyone is interested to see that there is really a feeling of dialogue with the ancients in the long history.
