The museum was founded in 1960 and is located in the north foot of Yunlong Mountain, a beautiful south of Xuzhou City. The original site is the former site of the palace of Emperor Qianlong in 1757 during the southern tour of Qing Gaozong. In order to strengthen the construction of famous historical and cultural cities and develop the cause of cultural and cultural tourism, the people's government of Xuzhou City decided to expand the museum at the original site in 1996, and it was completed and opened in May 1999. Xuzhou Museum covers an area of 23,000 square meters and a construction area of 12,000 square meters. It consists of three exhibition areas: the exhibition building, the Qianlong Palace, and the Tushan Han Tomb. The exhibition building has eight exhibition halls, and the display content is "Gu Pengzhibao -- Xuzhou Cultural Relic Essence" and "Yu Ou Huacai".
