Yantou Scenic Area Review

Shantou Scenic Area, located in Shantou Village, one of the two scenic spots in the ancient painting township. Dam + tree + pavilion is the most worth watching in the scenic area. The level behind the dam is like a mirror, the waves in front of the dam are rolling, and the pavilion next to the dam is elegant and quiet. Enjoy the trees in the village. The remaining tree age in the village is 1000 ～ 1500 years old, and the thousand-year-old elm cluster that stretches hundreds of meters is very rare. Looking around, more than ten giant pythons with a height of more than 20 meters rise up and stand on both sides of the canal. They are strong (the maximum tree diameter is more than 4 meters), moss marks are lush, green like cover (the maximum tree canopy is nearly 50 meters), and their branches are lush. 古堰景区部分有两个入口，一个是靠近游船码头的东门，一个是再古樟树群旁边的西门，也就是文昌阁入口，建议大家直接从西门或者西门旁边的居民区进，可以马上看到当地人的生活场景和大樟树，东门那边说实话真没什么东西可以看的。整个古堰景区部分花半小时就能全部走完，通济堰就在这条路的尽头处，画面右边墙面上写着一些看起来像是景点的名子和指向。文昌阁附近绝对是最佳的拍摄点位，倘若是气温再低一些，便有可能看到下面的溪流上扬起水雾，此时配合上日出的光线，那绝对是宛若进入仙境一般。

大巴下车地方离景区门口就五十米但是没有标识牌！害得我找了好久在居民区里！希望好好改善！古堰是先民治水用水的智慧结晶！以要好好保留着吧！可以看到好多当地居民的生活方式！

堰头村之所以叫这个名字，是因为这里有一条通济堰，建于公元519年，1500年历史，和都江堰齐名。一发洪水就没辙，还是挡不住那天灾，一冲就毁掉，直到南宋时期建了一座石头坝。
