Yiwu Museum Review

Yesterday I went to the old museum. In comparison, it is slightly rudimentary. There are calligraphy exhibitions, Wu Shu exhibitions and some cultural relics. It’s not bad to come and see, and I have a deeper understanding of Yiwu.

Yiwu Museum is on the edge of Xiaozixuan Park. There are not big places inside. There are only three rooms with exhibits, and more than half of them are local calligraphy and painting exhibitions. In Yiwu Museum exhibits, there are not many local cultural relics unearthed. There are several cultural relics unearthed in the East Han Dynasty. However, from the museum in Yiwu, it can be seen that Yiwu people are really rich, and there are several weighty exhibits in it, all of which are transferred from Beijing, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou and other places, that is, they are bought with money. It also reflects the importance of Yiwu people to cultural heritage. It takes about half an hour to get through.

Yiwu Museum is located at No. 126 Chengzhong North Road, Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, with more than 4,000 cultural relics in the collection, and the number of unearthed cultural relics and precious cultural relics is among the top of the counties and cities in Zhejiang. The collection of cultural relics is rich, with strong local characteristics, collections by stone, jade, ceramics, copper, iron, gold and silver, calligraphy and painting, bamboo and wood corner teeth, textiles and other classification collections. The collection is characterized by the original celadon in the west, the Six Dynasties in the Han Dynasty, the porcelain in the Luzhou Kiln, the gold and silverware in the Song Dynasty, and the Longquan Kiln porcelain in the Yuan Dynasty.

Yiwu Museum building imitation residential style is divided into exhibition halls, cultural relics warehouses, office houses. More than 4,000 cultural relics are in the collection, of which 18 cultural relics at the national level, 42 cultural relics at the second level, and more than 350 cultural relics at the third level. The number of unearthed cultural relics and precious cultural relics is among the top of the counties and cities in Zhejiang.

very nice and clean place, it’s very good for spending time alone or with friends or to do some cultural time , the trees and flowers are so beautiful, the place is well designed and the landscape is great especially if the weather could help so the time there will pass a little bit more slow than other places because of the calm.
