Yushan National Park Review

The tall Yushan Mountains stand on the south of the central island of Taiwan, the Shandong side of Ali, and the west of the central mountain range. Yushan Forest Park, established in 1985, covers Nantou, Chiayi, Kaohsiung, Hualien four counties, the area has ancient strata, with cliffs, canyons, cliffs and other variable terrain, plus height and climate factors, forming a rich ecological system, growing many rare trees, Plants, and wildlife. The main peak of Yushan is 3,997 meters above sea level, which is the first peak in Taiwan. Because of the snow all year round, it looks like jade from a distance. The four peaks in the south, west and north are called "five mountains and sky". The beauty of Yushan is in its strange peak. The main peak is upright and high, and the mountain is the king's dignity. Beautiful hike up Yushan main peak. 3.925m but it's not as difficult as others at around the same height. day one I started at 11:30am and hiked 8.5km to paiyun lodge. woke up at 3am for breakfast. hiked 2.4km to the main peak. the last 0.2k. is tricky in the dark and strong wind but the views were totally worth it.down 2.4km and 8.5k. straight away. tiring day but unbelievable memories.
