[World Wetlands China Hejiaxiang] Zhalong National Nature Reserve (National AAAA-level tourist attraction) is China's largest and world-famous Zhalong Wetland, located 30 kilometers southeast of Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. With a total area of 210,000 hectares, it is the first in Asia and the fourth in the world, and the largest reed wetland in the world. It is the first national nature reserve in China and has been listed in China's first batch of "world important wetlands list". The lake is densely covered with grass, rich in fish and shrimps, and there are more than 100 species of rare birds in the Zhalong Nature Reserve. There are 15 kinds of cranes in the world, 9 kinds in China, and 6 kinds of dragons; there are less than 2,000 red-crowned cranes in the world, and more than 400 dragons in Zhalong. The dragon of the Bird Paradise is known as the "hometown of the crane". The red-crowned crane flies south in late autumn and returns in late spring. The birds sing in harmony, and people and nature are perfectly integrated in the dragon.
