Zhangye Zhenyuan Tower Review

Zhang Yudrum Tower, also known as "Zhenyuan Building" and "Jingyuan Building", was built in Ming Zhengde two years (1507), Qing Shunzhi five years (1648) destroyed in the military, Kangxi seven years (1668) rebuilt. The floor of the Drum Tower is square, composed of two parts, the tower, the height of 28 meters. The terrace is covered with blue bricks, 32 meters long, 10 meters high, four arches, the middle of the door are engraved with brick carvings, the east is "sunsheng", the west is "bincheng", the south is "yingxu", the north is "zhenyuan". The scorpion is hung on all sides, the east is "Nine heavy in the look", the west is "All the kingdoms of Xianbin", the south is "Sound teaching four Da", and the north is "Hushan view". The southeast corner of the Drum Tower is hung with Tang Dynasty copper bell 1 mouth, the casting process is exquisite, weighing about 600 kilograms, the bell tattoo decoration is divided into three layers, the upper layer is flying, the middle layer is Zhuque, Xuanwu, the lower layer is Qinglong, white tiger.

The Drum Tower in the Ming Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty was rebuilt, and the previous dynasty was repaired. From Zhangye West Station, the night view was walking. Zhangye Drum Tower is located in the center of Zhangye, Gansu Province. The Drum Tower is also known as "Zhenyuan Building", "Bell Tower", "Jingyuan Building". Brick, earth and wood mixed structure. It was built in Ming Zhengde in the second year (1507), Qing Shunzhi five years (1648) destroyed in the Bingyu, Kangxi seven years (1668) rebuilt, Qianlong, Guangxu years repaired. The tower is divided into two parts, the tower is 21 meters high. The terrace is built of earthen plate, blue brick is wrapped, the plane is square, the edge is 32 meters long, the height is 9 meters, the four-sided central axis arch, the door is 4 meters wide, the height is 5 meters, the door is inlaid with brick carving, the amount of the question: East "up", West "bincheng", South "ying", North "zhenyuan". The northwest corner is built with stone steps, and the outer three-story and inner two-story wooden buildings are built on the terrace. The floor is wide and deep, and the bottom is 16 meters wide. The original four sides are: East "Jincheng Spring Rain", West "Yuguan Xiaoyue", South "Qilian Snow", North "Juyan Ancient Mu". The southeast corner of the building hangs Tang Zhong, and the "renovation of the Ganzhou suspension bridge and Jingyuan building monument" built by Guangxu in the north for 24 years. It is well preserved. Zhangye Drum Tower is a representative ancient building in Zhangye City, which has important value for studying the architectural system, architectural history and architectural technology of the Ming and Qing Drum Towers. In 2006, Zhangye Drum Tower was listed as the sixth batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country with the approval of the State Council.
