GGuest UserMe and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had!
There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by.
Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend.
On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix.
It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family.
We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3
If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

AAnonymous UserWe came here with family to escape the summer heat and celebrate my close friend's birthday. The reception and service were excellent and very personalized. They kindly helped us with our luggage and thoughtfully arranged for our whole family to stay in the same building. All the arrangements were perfect!
I understand that small bugs and mosquitoes are inevitable in the mountains, but I hope some measures can be taken to control them.
Overall, everything was very satisfactory, and it was a delightful family vacation. We will definitely choose your place again next time.

FfuweweThe hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk through a covered bridge to the Fanjingshan ticket office. The hotel was renovated a while ago, and being in the mountains with high humidity, it's understandable that things might feel a bit damp. While the facilities are a bit older, my actual stay was fantastic. Firstly, every staff member was incredibly helpful. A lady named Xiaoman, and another young man whose name I didn't catch, even lent us a rag to wipe our car. Secondly, the front desk upgraded us to a scenic view room before check-in, which was a pleasant surprise. The balcony directly faces the park's central area, offering a beautiful view of the covered bridge. Furthermore, the room amenities were quite complete, and the bathroom even had a small stool, which was convenient. The bedding was comfortable. Although the amenities are a bit old, they appear quite clean. Overall, it offers great value for money.

GGuest UserOverall, this is a really excellent local five-star hotel. Zhijin isn't a big place, and compared to other small cities in Guizhou, Zhijin Hotel is a cut above. The hygiene is good, the hotel room facilities are relatively new, and the quality of the amenities is decent. The Chinese restaurant offers generous portions and the food tastes great. The hotel itself is grandly built with good views. The service is slightly less refined than what you'd find at a chain five-star hotel in a major city, but they still have a proactive service mindset. The hotel's SPA and foot massage service is excellent; it's very refreshing after a walk through Zhijin Cave. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhijin!

Welcome fruit and snacks as well as a mountaineering gift bag are provided when you check in. , compared with the environment and facilities, the price is very good. There is a business downstairs, which is very convenient for eating. What is particularly worth mentioning is the attentive and attentive reception at the hotel's front desk. It feels like a five-star hotel butler. It is recommended to stay here when visiting Fanjing Mountain. The price/performance ratio is excellent.

GGuest UserHighly recommend! We stayed here in April with our kids and everything about Zhaoxing Dong village and this hotel is so heartwarming and memorable! A trip we will remember forever! The owner is from Yunnan. He and all the staff are incredibly helpful, kind and friendly! Communication was clear before we arrived. They messaged us on WeChat and picked us up from the train station and brought our luggage to the hotel. The breakfast lady makes the most delicious soup noodle every morning and the hami melon is so sweet! Breakfast is served on the rooftop and the view in the morning is so serene as the town is still quiet. The hotel was even were so kind to make a bowl of soup noodle when our kids were not feeling well one evening. And the breakfast lady personally walked me to a local shop that sells handmade herbal shampoo to help promote healthy hair! I was so moved by her friendliness to share the towns local best kept secrets. There is a free green shuttle that picks up every few blocks within the town: this was very handy when traveling with kids who get tired from walking easily. Thank you for a personal and heartwarming stay! ❤️❤️

AAnonymous UserThis internet-famous guesthouse truly lives up to its reputation, with a total of 24 rooms. The biggest drawback is the number of stairs and the lack of an elevator, but everything else is excellent!
Location: It's situated next to the Balinghe Bridge in Guanling, about a 15-20 minute drive from the main Huangguoshu scenic area.
Ambiance: It's a popular guesthouse located in a small, charming village. The air is filled with the scent of mugwort. The 4th-floor observation deck is perfect for watching both sunsets and sunrises. You'll hear roosters crowing in the morning.
Facilities: Be prepared to climb stairs, as the highest floor is the 4th. There is a dedicated luggage elevator for your bags. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful but a bit noisy (earplugs are provided by the hotel). There's a self-service laundry room with two washing machines and two dryers, along with laundry pods.
Service: The butler-style service is prompt and friendly. I really appreciated the small farewell gift upon check-out.
Cleanliness: Very good.
Restaurant: They offer a buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch, and dinner requires advance ordering and reservation, with a notification when it's ready. The cocktails at the bar are excellent.

YYang121314The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, accessible through the village, making it quieter than other guesthouses in the village. The rooms aren't very big, but the amenities and facilities are very comfortable. The heated clothesline is a thoughtful touch for this season. The cloth slippers provided by all Fengxi guesthouses are incredibly comfortable, and the felt tote bag is very practical for storing odds and ends in the car during long trips!

TtikimadI brought my mom and aunt to Guiyang, and I was most worried about the older generation walking their legs off, but the Sofitel Guiyang Hunter really nails the concept of a ”lazy vacation.” Taking the elevator up to the 55th floor first and then transferring to another for the rooms is a bit convoluted, but the trade-off is high-altitude peace and quiet that's totally worth the price—my aunt pulled back the curtain and exclaimed, ”Oh, Jiaxiu Tower is right beneath our feet.” The room had a deep bathtub and soft bathrobe; the elders soaking in the tub while enjoying the night view was way more relaxing than dragging them through crammed tourist spots. Breakfast is on the 57th floor, featuring beef rice noodles, diced chicken with chillies, tofu balls, hot dishes, and French pastries, so even my mom, who insists on a ”hot breakfast,” was satisfied. And don't even get me started on the kids—upon check-out, Cat gave them a Miao embroidery coaster and a small puzzle, and the little one didn't want to leave. If you're bringing your family to Guiyang, don't bother with remote suburban guesthouses; a high-rise hotel in the city center is the real hassle-free choice.

Because we had a lot of luggage, the front desk lady also arranged for staff to pick us up and help us with our luggage. She also introduced the scenic area and gave us the tour route. The room was upgraded. The room we originally booked did not have a view. We were upgraded to a balcony view king room for free. You can see the panoramic view of the Miao village. You don't need to climb the mountain to see the panoramic view. The hotel is located in the center of the Miao village. It is convenient to go anywhere. It is especially worth recommending 👍👍👍
