This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Jinling Hotel Nanjing 新街口. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the Jinling Hotel offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. We were given an upgrade to the executive room and breakfast was served on the 56th floor and we had an amazing time. The atmosphere and service were great. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable especially to Mr. 邢阳, thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.

The location was excellent, and the open facilities were very good. I understand it's a ”China thing” that prevents outdoor swimming pools from being open to the public other than July - August - but it's ridiculous and one that a 5-star hotel should change. You advertise having an indoor and outdoor pool; however, 85% of the entire year, it is closed.... so how can you say you have an outdoor pool? It's false advertising. It was 32 degrees this weekend and perfect weather for the outdoor pool, but you didn't have it open - thus, I took away two stars on facilities. The service in the restaurant was EXCELLENT on the 45th floor, extremely good and well worth the 5stars; the front desk people also on the 1st floor incredible; however, the service in the (the indoor!!!) swimming pool was extremely average - feeling like being served from student intern vs. any 5star customer service at all. The service in the bar on the 78th floor was highly average. also, for 5star, with us having to ask for drinks and not a single smile when serving the drinks, while the 78th-floor views are breathtaking, the service was let down. Last but not least, our parents-in-law traveled with us and rang the front desk for help with the TV. They rang twice, and they were waiting for someone to help them. I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in other locations, and the service is always very good. While some departments at this location were good, they needed to be more balanced by the inconsistency of the other departments.

The hotel is located at the ping jiang road. Good location but not so friendly if you have lots of luggage. Car can't drive it, need to walk about 200-300meter from the main road.The hotel is situated at the 2 ND floor. We need to carry our luggage up.Free han fu experience is only for 2 hr.need to book in advance. Hotel restaurant don't serve any food.Need to prebook. Was stuck in hotel for one whole day because of the typhoon. Em .not much to do in the small room. And they don't serve any food even though we can't go out. Not a very pleasant experience .

Very good Hotel and excellent location and great service staff. Special mention to Cici and Chloe who are very very helpful. Room does need an upgrade as some of the things are too old. Hotel is close to 20 years old and will undergo renovation but does not affect the staying experience. Will return to stay at hotel next time in October

The most incredible service to date in 20years of China hotel stays. Extremely friendly staff, great English and attention to detail. 10/5 stars for service. Breakfast buffet also good. The only very small issue was the rooms didn’t have plugs on side of bed to charge phone. Lovely hotel, amazing service and highly recommended to others. To management just would politely suggest to and plugs on each side of bed so can charge phones, it’s not 1995 anymore and everyone has devices to charge.

My wife and me stayed at the Garden Hotel Suzhou from 02 to 06 December 2023. This is an excellent hotel with a large compound with several low rise buildings. Location is excellent with ample shops and dining options all around the hotel. The room is large enough and better than most other hotels. Breakfast spread is very good with enough western and eastern varieties. Staff are friendly and helpful. Taxis are easy and conveniently arranged with the help of hotel staff. If we do go to Suzhou again, we will stay at the Garden Hotel Suzhou again.

Indeed a perfect hotel location in Suzhou! Clean and big hotel, walking distance to 平江路 and it’s just next to 拙政院東出口. You will never get bored by staying this area! Cons: due to its very near to tourist spots location, the traffic is super bad. I’ve been waiting for 1 hour for my didi to arrive and head to Suzhou station, never take other transportation due to having super big luggage.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a good experience. The hotel was nicely designed, and the staff were friendly (Xiao Qin, Xiao Cha and the supervisor). They also recommended places to visit and guided us on how to travel around the area. Their service was great as they assisted us with issues we faced and even helped to upgrade our room. The location was also very convenient for navigating around, as it’s near the Metro station and also close to the food street with many dining options! Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its great service and convenient location.

Excellent value for the price. We had a suite which was big and clean. The staff was friendly and offered me an extra breakfast voucher for my son. Although we didn’t try them, there were a couple good looking Korean restaurants on the ground floor. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Times Square and a 7-minute walk from my favorite Vietnamese restaurant.

This place was great! Super quiet (admittedly, I was there on a Tuesday) and clean room with new furnishings. There is no elevator, but you'll probably be on the second floor, and this was fine by me. The hotel staff were nice, too :) The only thing that I'd add is that the curtains on the room's (very spacious!) window could have been darker. As it is, you might be woken up at dawn by the natural lighting! :) Oh, and the bed is pretty hard, which, personally, I love. Would book again! :)

Hotel is good and clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I deduct 1 point for no bathtub and 1 point for very high costs during Jinji lake half marathon. Besides I am happy!

Generally speaking, it is very average. The decoration of the room is seriously outdated. The mirror faces the bed. The bathtub is not cleaned. The front desk staff is slow to check in. After entering the store, I sat for a long time before someone came to receive me.

The hotel lobby is elegant and comfortable, very grand. The room is large, spacious and bright. The bed is very comfortable and the TV screen is large. A fruit set meal is given on the day of check-in, and two boxes of milk are given every day. The breakfast is excellent, worthy of being a five-star hotel, with rich and delicious food, and good service. Downstairs is the entrance to Confucius Temple, and you can go to Confucius Temple to eat anytime and anywhere. The transportation is convenient, 7.8 minutes away from the subway entrance. The disadvantage is that the faucet in the bathroom is relatively old-fashioned and not very convenient to use; the sound insulation in the room is poor, and sometimes you can hear the voice of the next room talking. The room rate is also much more expensive during holidays. But overall, the experience is very good and I am quite satisfied.

The hotel is in a great location. It is close to the center of Xinjiekou and a few minutes' walk to Changfu Street subway station. When checking in, the hotel housekeepers Xiao Wu and Xiao Zhou enthusiastically helped me adjust the room type for my extended stay. The service was great and it is worth recommending to everyone. I will choose this hotel again.

The housekeeper Qingqing added WeChat the day before to notify some precautions in advance. After checking in, all the supplies needed to take care of the baby are arranged, including children's slippers, toilet rails, toothbrushes, etc. Ctrip’s packages come with various gifts, including VIP train, VIP circus, buy one get one free at Starbucks, and boating projects, all of which are practical and practical. Great location close to metro to get to the office everyday, while also being near to the tourist area for a chance to see a bit of Nanjing of an evening. Plenty of food options around. Only downside was the light switches are led and bright - eye mask recommended if you like a dark room. Not the newest hotel around, it was comfy, clean and had everything I needed. The wifi worked for me (not the case in some hotels I stayed in on this trip). The room was spacious, and the sitting area handy to keep luggage etc out of the way. Unfortunately no view from the window, but the window did open, which was nice. The English name on the door was Grand Comfy Hotel

This pet-friendly B&B recommended by the pet group was really more friendly than I imagined. There is a huge lawn for dogs to play frisbee, which is a pain for dog owners in the city. The dogs finally had a good time this time. The scenery is very photogenic. I didn’t expect there is such a good place in Nanjing. It brought a lot of relaxation to the little dog and people. The housekeeper also gave us watermelons. The service was also good and thoughtful. Anyway, I will bring my dog ​​here to play next time!

Old oriental style hotel witha rich history. Look majestic and grand on the outside. (Interior of hotel in many nooks n corners are poorly maintained) Room service is superb. Super comfortable n firm bed. Located right within 太湖 (taihu lake) so you can jog/walk around the beautiful lake and giant ferris wheel in the morning and take in the fresh air. With outdoor pool n gym. Hotel food is mainly big fancy chinese restaurants n buffet. No casual dining . No western selection except the high tea cafe which serves some sandwiches and pasta. Hotel can organise ferry trip to turtlehead island

Good service by the hotel once I arrived the hotel someone help me to open the door and someone help me with the luggages until my room. That service staff is an elderly which I truly respected him for hold on this job responsibility. Check in procedure is fuss free as well. Kudos to all the staff there. We get to see a lot of fireworks from our room

We received a complimentary upgrade, as we had not yet received our purchased tickets to Nianhua Wan due to not having the China identity (as informed by trip agent & hotel). The breakfast provided was satisfying, offering a good start to our day. Despite the hotel's older appearance, it is well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and appreciated the hotel's efforts to accommodate us.

The hotel is in a scenic location and very close to the Wuxi lake and Lingshan Buddha, the local food was great and the staff were very friendly. There were a few downsides, the all-day dining restaurant was closed, the restaurants in the village closed very early and very few staff spoke English or even knew who to direct us to for help. The staff however, after a few mistakes, went out of their way to help us and resolve some of the issues. The gentleman working at the pool area was great, the swimming pool and billiard room were awesome. The village had many shows throughout the day, many cafes and a lot of cute cats that were really friendly.

Let's go on a spontaneous trip during the National Day, let's go to Nianhua Bay. There are light shows, fireworks shows, and drone shows at night. Visiting cultural and creative shops during the day is a unique experience. The room is really nice, quiet in the bustling city, very comfortable. The housekeepers Liu Hui and Xiao Jia are responsive and thoughtful. My friend said that he would bring his parents to play next time

Service: Check-in during the National Day holiday was also very smooth. Linda at the front desk saw that we were with our baby and took the initiative to help upgrade the corner room. The room was much larger with a 2.3m king-size bed (a bed that was put together). The other ladies at the front desk were also very nice. They would smile and say hello when they saw the baby. The doorman would take the initiative to help open the door and take the luggage, which was also great~ Executive courtesy: The executive floor is on the 38th floor, with a good view (Figure 2), where you can see the canal. The executive lounge has afternoon tea (fruit drinks, wine, desserts) and dinner happy hour (pasta, stir-fried dishes, wine, drinks...). There are not many people for afternoon tea during holidays, but you need to queue up for dinner. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable. The staff members were welcoming, friendly, and showed great enthusiasm in their service even they could not communicate in English. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location next to a large mall made it effortless to find a variety of dining options nearby. On the whole, I was pleased with the overall level of service provided. One area for improvement, however, was the air conditioning system, which tended to produce noticeable noise. Furthermore, there were occasions when I detected an unfamiliar odor (smoke) within the room, but I was uncertain of its source. Staff also could not help to resolve for those.

I like this hotel very much. It reflects the noble temperament and scholarly mansion everywhere. The environment is a typical Jiangnan garden, with pavilions, towers, bridges and flowing water. The guest rooms are just like the houses in the alleys, quiet and comfortable. The room design is elegant and modern, and the service is also very thoughtful and considerate. I especially recommend the free dinner snacks delivered to your door and the greeting notes written with a brush, which are very heartwarming.

The inn is quite big, with a garden inside, winding paths lead to secluded places, and the environment is beautiful and clean. There are also reception rooms and a library. The room is not luxurious, but it is quite clean, with complete facilities, and the breakfast is also quite exquisite. Parking is convenient. It is very close to Lingshan Giant Buddha and Nianhua Bay from the inn. The waiters inside are very nice. The boss may be a devout disciple of Buddhism. There are many Buddhist scriptures in the library, and there are some Buddhist books in the room. It can be seen that the boss has the heart to give and benefit all living beings. Like it. I will have the opportunity to stay for a few more days in the future.
