I chose this hotel based on reviews from Trip.com users, and it really didn't disappoint. It truly feels like a royal palace garden hotel, and best of all, the price is incredibly reasonable. You can stay in such a beautiful place for just a few hundred yuan a night! Plus, you get free access to the Panmen Scenic Area next door, and the night view there is so stunning it feels otherworldly. We were even lucky enough to catch a 'datihua' (iron flower) performance, which was absolutely amazing. And their buffet breakfast is fantastic, really extensive, and only 68 RMB per person – such a great deal!

This hotel is nestled in an alley in Laomendong, right opposite the popular Pioneer Bookstore, which is a great location. The only downside is that it's 1.5 km from the metro station, but we took taxis everywhere, so it wasn't a big deal for us. We originally booked a tatami room, but only found out upon arrival that it was on the B2 level. It had a musty smell, was damp, and poorly ventilated, making it quite uncomfortable. We paid an extra 1000 RMB to switch to a room on the second floor, which was much better. If you're booking, definitely avoid the basement rooms. The hotel has three adorable cats! Aside from the little hiccup with the room upgrade, everything else was pretty good, even though the price doubled during the holiday.

What a fantastic vacation experience! Over four days and three nights, we got to try out buildings 9, 2, and 8, each with its own advantages. My personal preference, in descending order, is 2 ≥ 9 ≥ 8. First, let's talk about the courtyard room in building 2. What I loved most was waking up to lush greenery right outside my window. I could step into the courtyard in my pajamas and soak in nature. Even when it rained, there was no need to worry about not being able to go out; there were tables and chairs in the courtyard perfect for quietly watching the rain. It truly maximized that relaxed, vacation feel, ideal for unwinding and recharging. The facilities weren't old either; I found them perfectly fine. Next up is the suite in building 9. It's spacious, featuring a living room, bedroom, study, and two bathrooms. The Chinese-style decor felt grand and expansive, and the garden views from the window were also excellent. It would be very comfortable for a family. Since there were only two of us, we didn't need such a large space, which is why I personally preferred building 2, though building 9 was indeed great. Building 8 is the newest and most modern. It offers breakfast (which 2 and 9 don't), and it was quite good. The window seats in the restaurant also boasted amazing views. They even provide complimentary bedtime snacks (again, something 2 and 9 lack) and you can choose hot milk, which was a very thoughtful touch. The room quality was also higher, with Bulgari toiletries, Evian and Nongfu Spring bottled water, and better quality disposable slippers and mattresses. However, my personal priority for a resort hotel is the scenery, so building 8 ranked slightly lower for me. For those who prioritize room quality and service details, this building is definitely worth considering. The overall landscaping and service throughout the hotel grounds were excellent. Before coming, I wondered if people were exaggerating when they said you don't need to leave the hotel for a vacation, but after experiencing it, I realized it's true. Staying at the Yingbinguan is perfect for a low-energy, lazy person like me who doesn't want to wake up early for itineraries or battle crowds at tourist attractions. Beyond the hotel, everyone we encountered in Yangzhou – at attractions, restaurants, and museums – was incredibly nice. Thank you, Yangzhou, for giving us such precious travel memories. We'll definitely be back for another vacation!

This hotel is located near Sanyang Plaza, making it super convenient for getting around. The views are fantastic, especially at night when you can see the city center's nightscape. The room is spacious, with a modern minimalist style, and the large bed is really comfortable. The front desk staff are lovely and very helpful; you can reach them through the hotel's WeChat if you need anything. There are also plenty of famous Wuxi local eateries nearby, like Sanfeng Bridge and Wangxingji. It's also a shopping district, so retail therapy is a breeze. There's even an anime-themed mall downstairs – worth checking out if you're into that sort of thing, it's quite fun! The overall vibe of the hotel is great, and the environment is excellent. Friends visiting Wuxi should definitely come and experience this high-rise hotel. Highly recommended! ✨

Arrived at the hotel early in the morning after the Dragon Boat Festival, and they upgraded my room. The room was quite spacious, still retaining that classic Hyatt style. Surprisingly, there was a telescope in the room, though it wasn't particularly useful. The hotel's location is absolutely excellent. You can take the subway directly from Xuzhou East Station to right downstairs. Below the hotel is a bustling commercial street with shops and restaurants of all kinds. To the south, you can walk to Huilongwo and Hubu Mountain. Just across the street to the north is the Confucius Temple, the 1818 Night Market, and Fuguo Street is also nearby. Several must-try restaurants on the 'best-of' lists are all within walking distance. It's perfect for enjoying food and drinks without getting too tired, making it an ideal way to experience Xuzhou.

Hotel near Xinjiekou Area/Presidential Palace,Nanjing 1.6% of visitors choose this area
FFuxianjushi 2026.06.21
1. This was my second trip to Nanjing. Last time, in March, I came for a marathon and a whirlwind 'special forces' tour. This time, it was a pure 5-day, 4-night leisure trip with two adults and one child (10 years old). But Nanjing is truly massive, so we still averaged 30,000 steps a day. 2. Nanjing's subway system is quite developed. Xinjiekou Station alone has 24 exits, which can be dizzying! However, most subway stations are still a bit of a walk from the main entrances of attractions. The key central transfer stations are Xinjiekou, Gulou, Dahangong, Jimingsi, Yunnan Road, and Shanghai Road – knowing these makes planning travel and booking accommodation much easier. 3. This time, we stayed at Jinling Hotel, one of the so-called 'Big Four Hotels.' We experienced both the newly renovated rooms in the Asia Pacific Tower and the Jinling Tower, as well as both regular and Dragon Boat Festival rates. The prices are indeed high. How to put it? I personally think its biggest selling point is its unbeatable location. (Overall value for money, compared to hotels in Hainan, Guangzhou, Tibet, and Yunnan, and even compared to hotels in Nanjing's Hexi area, isn't particularly high). 4. In the Asia Pacific Tower, we had a 50th-floor, 2-meter king-size bed room. The view from the window adds at least 30% to the room price. Excluding the bathroom, the main usable area is about 12 square meters. The bathroom has a separate shower and tub, and is wet/dry separated. The king bed is big enough for two adults and one child. There's also a short sofa, so a child under 1.4 meters tall could theoretically sleep there. Therefore, this room type could compactly accommodate two adults and two children (if both are under 10, and if the hotel allows). 5. Jinling Tower has two room types. Rooms marked as 'Yizhi' on certain booking platforms are newly renovated, while unmarked ones are older. The biggest difference is whether it has a shower or a stand-up tub. The Yizhi twin room has 1.3-meter beds, with a main usable area of about 6-8 square meters. The bathroom has a traditional layout: shower on the left, toilet in the middle, and sink on the right. 6. The breakfast in both towers seems to offer the same dishes. The Asia Pacific Tower's breakfast is on the 56th floor, and the window seats offer a truly good view, looking east and northeast. On a clear day, you can see Purple Mountain and Xuanwu Lake. Jinling Tower's breakfast is on the 1st floor, but the flow design feels a bit off, as there are too many tables packed too tightly. The breakfast is rich, satisfying, and features local specialties, but for someone from Yunnan, there's a lack of leafy greens and spicy options. 7. Both towers require key card access for elevators. Delivery riders cannot deliver directly to the rooms in either tower. However, if you include your room number in the delivery instructions, a robot can deliver it. The phone room to the right after exiting the elevator in the Jinling Tower also has a delivery locker. Anyway, there are tons of food options inside Xinjiekou subway station, so we barely needed delivery. 8. The lobby restroom in the Asia Pacific Tower is to the right of the front desk after entering. In the Jinling Tower, it's to the back-right of the front desk (outside the restaurant). The Asia Pacific Tower offers unlimited complimentary welcome drinks; the sour plum flavor is quite good. The 25-meter pool is in the Asia Pacific Tower and has no lanes. I tried it in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and could generally swim continuously without needing to consciously avoid others. 9. Overall, based solely on the room types mentioned, I'd rate the Jinling Hotel an 80-85 out of 100: Breakfast: 16 points (personal taste issue) Rooms: 14 points (Asia Pacific Tower) / 8 points (Jinling Tower new room) Sleep Quality: 19 points Amenities: 18 points (deducted 1 point for no drying rack in the bathroom) Service: 19 points (soft services are excellent; Yunnan should learn from this)

Before check-in, I received a message from Luanne at the hotel, who thoughtfully reminded us of all the details we hadn't even considered and made excellent arrangements. A big wish of mine when returning to Nanjing and staying at the Zifeng InterContinental was to see my alma mater, and this time it was perfectly realized. I saw my alma mater embracing the purple aura of Zijin Mountain, a moment I'll remember for a long time.

The inn's location is fantastic, directly across from the Lion Grove Garden, and very close to the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum, making sightseeing incredibly convenient! I had originally booked the smallest room in the inn. When I arrived, I asked the owner if a free upgrade was possible, as many guests had mentioned being upgraded. Without a second thought, the owner immediately upgraded me to the largest room—the service was truly exceptional! The room decor was beautiful, especially the large bed, which perfectly embodies classical Chinese aesthetics. There was also a tatami tea table and a small arhat bed. The front desk even provides a sewing kit for mending clothes, all of which speaks volumes about the owner's excellent service. I'm definitely planning to stay here again on my next trip to Suzhou.

This hotel boasts a modern, minimalist style and is very clean. You can control things with voice commands, which is a nice touch. It's not far from the subway station, making it convenient to get to all the attractions. Shiquan Street and the Master of the Nets Garden are just a 10-15 minute walk away. There are plenty of local eateries around the hotel, plus an ALDI supermarket for groceries. When I checked in, they kindly upgraded me to a room with a window and allowed a late check-out until 2 PM, which was really helpful. They even gave me two small sachets when I checked out – highly recommend! 👍

Suzhou has so many hotels, and we spent a long time choosing AnShe. First, its location is fantastic – super close to the Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, and the Lotus Flower Market, which is a must-visit in June. Second, I saw many reviews praising their service, and it really lived up to the hype when we arrived; the staff were all very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Most importantly, the cleanliness was impeccable; every part of the room was spotless and well-maintained down to the smallest detail. Even though it's not a chain hotel, I was really satisfied with this stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Pingjiang Road, offering a quiet escape while being convenient for sightseeing. The small courtyard feels surprisingly spacious, and the 'Love Museum' adds a unique charm. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The manager was incredibly helpful, guiding us from the parking lot and patiently explaining everything. The breakfast staff were also very kind to our children. This is our second visit, and we'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserHighly recommended! Before checking in, I thought it was an old hotel and didn't have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the room. Although the decor is over 10 years old, all the facilities are of good quality. The furniture, carpets, and bathroom fixtures, though a bit dated, had a better feel than what was shown in the promotional pictures. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent! The cleaning was very thorough, and the room had fresh air with no strange odors (no old room smell). The room also offered an open view and was quiet! The front desk and restaurant staff I encountered during my stay were very helpful and efficient in handling requests and resolving issues. You could tell they were well-trained! Considering the location, service, and quality, it offers great value for money! Suggestions for improvement: There was only one tissue box at the washbasin. I recommend placing another one in the bedroom area. Also, it might be a good idea to periodically check the seals in the shower and toilet partitions, as there was a minor leak one day.

RRemilyWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂 The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally. For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁 Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.

I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.

1110153****A clean and affordable hot spring hotel with few guests. The service attitude was genuinely excellent – friendly, attentive, and patient. The hot springs were also good; the key is that there weren't many people, making for a very relaxing soak. Soaking in the winter is truly comfortable. We were warm and toasty, and it wasn't cold at all walking back from the outdoor pools. The breakfast was abundant with plenty of choices. However, a few complaints: The family room was advertised to have a sofa bed, but it was very small, only suitable for a child. Once unfolded, half was a hardboard and half a soft cushion, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The shampoo and body wash provided for showering at the hot springs were quite low-quality, and there was no conditioner. Also, the changing room air conditioning was insufficient, so it was quite cold while changing clothes.
