It was a very satisfying trip. My family of three checked in on October 8th, booking a two-bedroom, one-living room room at Taoxie Viewing Bamboo. Our housekeeper, Li Sipeng, contacted me a day in advance to confirm our arrival time and provided us with detailed and clear information about the hotel. When we arrived at the parking lot, Li was already waiting for us and upgraded us to Taoxie Viewing Mountain. The experience was incredibly comfortable. My son and I each had our own suite, offering stunning views and an outdoor hot tub and swimming pool. The hotel also provided many helpful perks. The front desk, restaurant staff, driver, and staff were all courteous and helpful. Li was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. Our photographer, April, was also a fantastic photographer, and I was thrilled to capture so many beautiful photos. The restaurant's cuisine was also delicious and suited our tastes. Overall, I had a wonderful impression of Bamboo Valley and will definitely return when I have time.

The service exceeded my expectations. The staff at Chang Le were incredibly welcoming, providing excellent service from the moment they drove me up the mountain in an electric cart, to the explanations along the way, and even the patient explanations of the facilities in the treehouse. The service was exceptionally attentive and meticulous. Both the hot springs at the summit and the private hot springs in my room had excellent water quality and were very comfortable. The environment was quiet, and the hiking around the mountain provided just the right amount of exercise for a relaxing vacation. A very satisfying trip.

Staying at the Banyan Tree Nanjing Garden Expo, this hotel is built into a quarry cliffside, offering stunning views of mist-shrouded waterfalls and the mine valley. Both the public areas and rooms are incredibly picturesque. Every room comes with a private hot spring tub, and the Tangshan hot springs are truly comfortable and rejuvenating. The personalized handwritten welcome letter from the General Manager truly showed their respect and warmth towards guests. The bedding was soft and the soundproofing excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk and butler service were attentive and enthusiastic; check-in was efficient, and we also enjoyed complimentary park admission and shuttle service. The dining and spa quality were exceptional. With its sophisticated design and meticulous attention to detail, it perfectly blends natural wilderness with luxurious quality. Highly recommend!

This was my second stay at the Four Seasons Suzhou, and as before, the facilities, environment, and service were all excellent. The biggest surprise this time was discovering that I could run a 13.14 km loop around Jinji Lake directly from the hotel, along a beautiful boardwalk. The running path was uncrowded and clean, offering lovely scenery the whole way. Plus, the kids' club offered a childcare service with dedicated and responsible staff, which gave me great peace of mind. We were celebrating a birthday, and Molly from guest services called beforehand to discuss our check-in. They even decorated the room for the birthday, and sent a fruit platter and cake. Their service response was very quick, which I really appreciated. Our room attendant, Sun Hongli (I believe that's her name), noticed we had a child and, mentioning the dry weather, thoughtfully provided extra bottles of water in the room. At breakfast, I happened to meet the gym manager, who listened attentively to some of our suggestions. When our child finished eating and wanted to go play, the staff even helped escort them to the kids' club, which was reassuring and made for a great experience. The only slight downside was that the breakfast seemed to have fewer choices than before. I recall there being a semi-buffet option previously, which is no longer available (or perhaps I'm mistaken?). Overall, the quality seemed to have dipped slightly. We had dinner at Jin Jing Ge; the service and ingredients were good, but it didn't leave a 'wow' impression. There's definitely room for improvement in the dining experience. Overall, I still really love this Four Seasons, which uniquely occupies its own island. I plan to bring the kids back in the summer to enjoy the water activities.

Guests' cars are parked at the entrance and shuttled by electric carts. The scenery is stunning, with lush forests and bamboo groves creating a truly beautiful atmosphere. Spending money here is definitely worthwhile. This hotel left a deep impression on me. From the rooms and facilities to the service and environment, I was extremely satisfied. The mountaintop hot spring is definitely worth checking out. The villa rooms feature a spacious and bright outdoor soaking pool in the center, and the bedding is very comfortable, featuring many bamboo accents, providing me with a superior resting environment. The hotel facilities are also very complete. The butler, Xiao Rui, was attentive and responsible, answering my questions, helping me book meals, and providing complimentary toiletries. My review: I'll definitely come back next time!

Staying at Banyan Tree Yangcheng Lake, I was fortunate to meet Ambassador Martin, who transformed an ordinary trip into an unforgettable lakeside poem. From our first meeting, his warm welcome felt like reconnecting with an old friend. Throughout our stay, his thoughtfulness was evident in countless subtle ways. Learning that we had come specifically for a winter getaway, he discreetly adjusted our itinerary, introducing us to the hotel's activities, facilities, and local Suzhou cuisine. He never overtly boasted, yet always managed to surprise us with his attention to detail – a well-timed greeting, a prompt helping hand, and a perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. Martin's service went far beyond his job description; it was born from genuine passion and care. He redefined hospitality with his professionalism and warmth, making the Banyan Tree spirit shine brightly by Yangcheng Lake. Such an experience truly makes it worth a special journey.

How do I even begin to describe it? Nanjing Kayumanis is simply flawless, from the rooms to the service. You might wonder, 'How good can an old hotel be?' This is a luxury hotel built during an economic boom, exuding an air of lavish disregard for cost when it comes to comfort and privacy. The patina of time and age perfectly embodies that 'old money' aesthetic everyone craves now. Just look at the meticulously tiled, rounded corner niche in the shower for toiletries, or the almost ubiquitous sliding doors that connect every floor-to-ceiling window to an outdoor patio – then you'll understand what I mean. Although it shows signs of age, the staff diligently maintain it. The entire room, inside and out, every corner, smells only of incense, osmanthus, and camphor – absolutely no other odors. For an older hotel, this is incredibly rare and speaks volumes about their dedication. The staff's demeanor is also remarkably pleasant, from our butler Susan, to the ladies at breakfast, to the gentlemen managing the pool and hot springs. They are responsive, efficient, and genuinely warm, truly showcasing the straightforward charm of Nanjing locals. I've stayed in many luxury hotels, and Nanjing Kayumanis stands out as one of the best examples of a global hotel management company truly mastering localization. It's also the main reason I'd return to Nanjing for another vacation.

We chose Banyan Tree for a hot spring and spa retreat, and overall, it was a good experience. All the staff were very friendly. I didn't give a perfect score because I still noticed a lack of experience in the hotel's overall management in many small details. The Banyan Tree Spa deserves the highest praise. We booked a couple's master therapy session, and they gave us an excellent room. The therapists' techniques were fantastic and incredibly relaxing. A big thank you to April and Abby – a full five-star rating for them. The Spa and Hot Spring Center was also good. Since it just opened, there weren't many people, and I had the whole place to myself. However, the water temperature in the pools could be more reasonable: one outdoor pool was a bit too cold, and one indoor pool was too hot, leaving only half the pools usable. Also, the bathroom design lacked places to hang items (like swimsuits and towels). Furthermore, I encountered issues with the showerhead handle coming off in both the spa room's bathroom and the hot spring center's bathroom. There were also some flaws in the privacy design of the private hot springs and the general hot springs. If someone were to lean out and look from a higher floor outside, they could see in, so it's essential to stay clothed. Breakfast was mediocre, but dinner was delicious and used quality ingredients. There were also some coordination issues. For instance, after we booked an on-site activity and showed up on time, the staff members were often caught off guard, requiring us to wait while they confirmed or called someone over, as if they weren't prepared. This happened in almost all situations (3 times). Although it was quickly resolved and didn't take much time, it felt like a communication breakdown between the booking system and the service team, which was below expectations. I'm writing all this in the hope that this Banyan Tree, which is a partnership with state-owned assets, can maintain its brand standards. These are the thoughts of a loyal customer.

Recommended by a local Nanjing friend! We were pleasantly surprised when we drove there: easy parking, beautiful large bamboo groves, and spacious rooms perfect for families, complete with a kitchen and dining table for simple cooking. There's also plenty of space between the villas, offering great privacy. The air is fresh, perfect for a walk. The photos on the platform are accurate! Our butler, Louis, responded instantly to all our questions. When we had an early flight, the buggy we booked was waiting promptly at the door. The 'Simple Man' restaurant's double-pepper fish head and rice noodle black pork were delicious! It's a shame we encountered rainy weather this time, so we couldn't fully enjoy ourselves. We'll definitely stay here again if we have the chance to visit the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region in the future. Highly recommend!

I chose the InterContinental, Nanjing's most luxurious hotel, for this booking. Initially, I had some doubts about the service attitude, but from check-in to check-out, I have to say their service was genuinely excellent. Tony, the concierge, was very enthusiastic and professional in providing Nanjing tour routes. He helped with luggage during check-in and even sent complimentary welcome fruits and drink vouchers before our check-out. Even when he wasn't on duty, he promptly replied to messages and arranged relevant matters – very responsible! The room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the hygiene was excellent, clean and tidy. The surrounding environment was also great, offering views of Nanjing city and Xuanwu Lake. Very nice! I'd also like to commend Luanne for her arrangements. She contacted me a day in advance to arrange all four rooms on the same floor, and despite our early arrival, we were able to check in smoothly. She also provided several Nanjing travel guides, and on multiple occasions, arranged for our takeout orders to be delivered to our room. Very thoughtful! If I come to Nanjing again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel because I wanted to try out this style, and overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience. The only minor drawback was that the location was a bit hard to find at first; after parking the car at the entrance of Pingjiang Road, we had to walk a distance, and the ground was uneven, which made it a bit challenging with luggage. On the day of check-in, the front desk surprised us with an upgrade to a room with a bathtub, which was a really pleasant surprise. The front desk staff also had an excellent attitude, making us feel very well taken care of. Additionally, upon check-in, thoughtful touches like small cookies, fruit, yogurt, and a welcome card were provided. These little details really enhanced the experience. The only thing is that the lighting in the room was a bit dim. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't know how to operate it, or if it was designed that way. It would have been perfect if the lighting brightness could be adjusted.

MM224225****It's absolutely no surprise this B&B has been crowned the most beautiful in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town for several years running! The owner's design perfectly blends ancient charm with modern comfort; every single corner is a picturesque delight, offering endless photo opportunities. What truly touched my heart was the proprietress's exceptional kindness. She welcomed us with refreshing watermelon and snacks right when we arrived, and even had more thoughtfully prepared for us after a long day of exploring. The beautifully designed courtyard, complete with fish, turtles, and a swimming pool, adds so much character. It genuinely offers a unique and enchanting take on the classic beauty of a Jiangnan water town.

RRuthWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂 The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally. For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁 Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.

ZZuiainaipaofan## Environment: Excellent! The hotel is clearly designed for large conferences, so it's incredibly spacious – it actually felt larger than the entire Xizha scenic area in Wuzhen! Located right on Tongli Lake, it boasts absolute prime lake views and is within walking distance of the ancient town. The landscaping and overall greenery are very high-end and luxurious. ## Cleanliness: Lacks attention to detail. The lakeside pavilions had quite a few cobwebs and bird droppings. There were also cobwebs outside the room window. The Daguan Garden area is currently under renovation, which made that section look a bit desolate. ## Room: This time we had a standard room. While no lake view was understandable, the window faced another room's window, which was pitch dark and a bit eerie at night – I'm not sure if it was a conference room. There was absolutely no greenery outside, as you can see from the pictures. I believe this is the area that most urgently needs improvement. ## Service: The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, always greeted us with smiles, and were very professional. ## Facilities: Also very impressive. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean, with several sprinklers inside, making it very suitable for children. It was a pity we didn't bring our swimsuits this time. We did play table tennis, and the court was good. There's also golf, but we couldn't go due to the rain. ## Breakfast: Mediocre. The dining area was quite small, and the variety of food was limited. It didn't match the hotel's overall standard, and disappointingly, the venue didn't offer lake views either. It felt like the entire long lakeside wasn't well utilized for dining, which is a real shame. ## Other Points: We purchased a package deal this time. The package included 'Tongli Night Tour,' which we initially assumed meant the hotel would provide tickets or some sort of activity. However, there was nothing of the sort; it merely implied you could go to Tongli Ancient Town yourself at night. How can this be included in a package? I find it misleading. Furthermore, the minibar only contained four Master Kong soft drinks, which felt very stingy. ## Overall: The hotel's hardware facilities, stunning views, and service level are all up to par. Despite some minor issues, it is still highly recommended.

MMusaOur stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern yet inviting ambiance that instantly made us feel at ease. We were particularly impressed by the range of facilities that catered to everyone in the family. The hot springs were a highlight for us, providing a tranquil escape and a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The water was just right, and the surroundings were serene, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime. Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor. The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish. Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

GGuest UserThe buffet breakfast was enjoyable. The staff members were welcoming, friendly, and showed great enthusiasm in their service even they could not communicate in English. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location next to a large mall made it effortless to find a variety of dining options nearby. On the whole, I was pleased with the overall level of service provided. One area for improvement, however, was the air conditioning system, which tended to produce noticeable noise. Furthermore, there were occasions when I detected an unfamiliar odor (smoke) within the room, but I was uncertain of its source. Staff also could not help to resolve for those.

QQiaozhenThis established five-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation! The location is super convenient; it's a 30-minute subway ride on Line 1 from Nanjing South Station, and a short walk from Exit 6 to the hotel. Right outside, you'll find the Xinjiekou twin subway station, making it easy to get anywhere. We received a complimentary upgrade to a room in the Asia Pacific Tower, directly facing Deji Plaza, and the night view with all the neon lights was absolutely stunning and great for photos. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, with a wide selection of Chinese Qinhuai snacks, as well as Western cold cuts and hot dishes, all tasting great. The service was warm and attentive throughout our stay – the bellhop proactively helped with our luggage, and the front desk staff patiently answered all our questions.
