I chose this hotel for its affordability. Its location was convenient, a short ten-minute walk from public transportation, and a twenty-minute walk from the main street and beach. The triple room was simply furnished with white walls. The bed's position against the hallway wall was slightly inconvenient, but our room at the end of the hall was pleasantly quiet. Breakfast was somewhat limited and occasionally ran out, and the menu lacked variety after a few days. Parking was available in a nearby tower for 1500 yen, which was comparable to other local options. Overall, I found the hotel somewhat underwhelming due to the lack of amenities such as a gym or pool, and its somewhat impersonal atmosphere. Complimentary beverages were limited to black coffee.
I have stayed at this hotel many times with my friends and we loved it.One thing we’re not happy lately is the breakfast .Before they have plenty of options but recently it’s different.
I took bus 143 from Naha Bus Terminal to the American Village (it was the last stop for this bus, not sure where the actual last stop is) and walked for about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. Since it was before check-in time, I waited in the lobby, where complimentary drinks and cookies were available. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped us store our luggage first; the service was excellent. After checking in, we were given an upgraded room, much larger than what we had booked, which was fantastic! American Village at night is beautiful and definitely worth staying for a night.
I have no idea why this hotel is so popular. I stayed during the off-season and paid 2,000, which is double the price of the Intercontinental next door. They gave me a room right by the basement parking entrance, and cars kept coming out, making it incredibly noisy! After complaining to Trip.com, I was moved to the 10th floor. Even though it was typhoon season and the occupancy rate wasn't high, they still gave me a terrible room. If it were peak season and first-come, first-served, and I got a bad room, I might not mind so much. The front desk staff had a stern face and was cracking their knuckles right in front of us, making loud popping sounds with their fists – like they wanted to pick a fight! The small room had three beds crammed in, making it very cramped. We were two adults and a 6-year-old child, and we booked a double room. I don't know why they gave us a triple-bedded room without discussing it. The hotel doesn't even separate pedestrians from vehicles. Although the sea view from the 10th floor was decent after we moved, there were parking spaces directly below, so it's definitely not worth the price… The hotel's lawn and public areas were messy, and the pool was just mediocre. The lobby, however, was quite grand, and breakfast was acceptable! The old church wasn't particularly photogenic either. If you have a car, there's absolutely no need to stay here; there are far better options. The beach isn't as good as other 5-star hotels either! There are plenty of dining options nearby, which might be why it's popular, possibly due to direct bus access. On checkout day, I saw many tourists with luggage waiting for transport at the main entrance. If it's more expensive than other 5-star hotels, there's no reason to choose it. I stayed at three hotels, and this was the worst…
Location is fantastic if you want a nice quiet beautiful beach. It's right at your doorstep. A convenient store beside the hotel lobby. A few good eateries within walking distance. Nice room with great sea view, likely one of the best you can find (see pics). Only stayed for a night as a stop-over for our road trip. Will definitely stay here again and for a longer period.
Awesome resort with all the amenities. Was expecting dedicated kids play room but it was not available. But the beach pool, area was enough to keep the toddler occupied . View from the room was stunning . Location of the hotel is very remote . With own vehicle it will be very convenient to stay in this resort .

The hotel’s ground floor feels like an art gallery — modern, minimalist, and thoughtfully designed. The concierge, café, and laundry area are all located on the second floor, where you’ll also find a display space showcasing artwork and merchandise by local artists, adding a charming creative touch.
Our room was clean and cozy, though slightly compact. We had to rearrange some furniture to open our luggage comfortably. The balcony was a highlight, offering a refreshing sea view and enhancing the overall relaxing, breezy atmosphere of the hotel.
Breakfast was enjoyable with a decent variety of options, and the quality was satisfying.
While the immediate surroundings are relatively quiet, it’s within walking distance to restaurants, AEON mart, and the popular Kokusai Dori Street, making it a good base for exploring the area.
The reason to go to this hotel is because it is extremely convenient and has a great view. We came here last year, but it was cheaper last year. We were surprised to learn that the car parking is now something you have to pay, which wasn't the case last year. Seems like a very cheap decision on their part considering the hotel is already pretty expensive. Also be prepared, the room will not be the newest or cleanest. It had a bit of mold on the wall around the AC unit, and the walls needed to be repainted and fixed on some parts.
Fantastic hotel. None of us, especially the kids, wants to leave the hotel at check-out.
They upgrade my room from level 6 to 9 premium club. It paid off to stay in an ocean facing room.
The room is clean and well maintained. Although this is not a new hotel (where lifts require cardkey) the rooms locks are cardkey based. Bed is a bit hard for me, but were just as hard for the other hotels i stayed there :^_^:.
The breakfast spread is wide and tasty. The restaurant can get crowded over weekend (but you can still managed to find a seat).
The beach lagoon is shallow and water is super clean and calm.
There are big malls/outlet, restaurants and super markets within 5~10 min drive.
It's around 20min drive to popular attractions like Okinawa world, Gandala valley, Chinen Park, Peace memorials, etc.
There is also free performance at 6pm on Fri/Sat evening, which IMO is better than those at theme parks.
The hotel gives 10% coupon for outlet and Iias mall (remember to use).
Note parking is still charged, at 550y per night, which seems to be standard for resort hotels in Okinawan (?)
American Village was absolutely beautiful for Christmas! The welcome drink was delicious, and breakfast was decent. The hotel was lively, so it was a bit noisy at night, but earplugs did the trick. Service was good, and the location was even better – super convenient for walking to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Plus, there's a bus back to Naha right next to the Hilton next door.

Very Good
GGuest UserLove the ocean view room, however they gave me a room on the second floor and they are always taxi waiting outside and sometimes the diver smokes and it gets into the room.
There are a microwave, stove (no pots/pans, cutlery and tableware), fridge and a washing machine (you can turn the shower area into a dryer by using the setting) available in the room. Detergent can be purchased for 100yen from the front desk. I used the paid parking (1000 yen) as it was raining - the parking area next to it is for hospital visitors, park at your own risk.
Location wise, you will need a car to get around. Or else, metered taxi are easily available as it is right next to a hospital. You will need to drive out most of the time, as the restaurants nearby are very limited and closes early. There is no access to beach as it is a sea wall.
Take note of the check in time as it opens till 8pm only.
GGuest UserIf you have a car, it's the perfect location for travelling around, shopping and eating out. It's also very convenient to restaurants, convenience stores and Pineapple Park on foot. The fridge is two doors, and there's a stove, washer/dryer, iron and vacuum cleaner. We stayed for four nights and it felt like home. There was no noise and we woke up early in the morning to the birds singing, so we had a wonderful time. The price was also reasonable and we were satisfied with our stay as a couple. We'd definitely like to stay here again next time.
