"This stay at inatori got to be one of the best decisions made. The room came with an absolutely stunning sea view which made this trip from the bustling city worth it!! You need to add the breakfast and dinner to your package too because the food served are top quality and so so delicious. We ate till we were stuffed every single night!! There’s no other hotel that come close to this amazing experience we had here. We also enjoyed the private onsen which can be booked by paying +$$
As the place is very much catered to local tourists, most of the menu, instructions are in Japanese, so just use your translator app if you have any questions! They do have staff who can speak English / mandarin!"

"The hotel is a bit old, a common issue with older Japanese hotels. The front desk staff are all older folks, but their attitude is excellent.
1. Yukata, towels, and toiletries are all provided and free. The room has a bathtub, but for a hot spring bath, you need to go to a designated floor. It's great value for money, and the room is very spacious, making it cost-effective for multiple people.
2. The cleanliness is what you'd expect given its age; I went in with realistic expectations, as it's hard for old hotels to meet strict hygiene standards.
3. The location is excellent and convenient for transportation. It's very close to Ito Station, and you can take the first bus in the morning directly from the starting point to Mount Omuro.
4. The sea is right outside the window, so the view is fantastic! You can even watch the sunrise from your room."

"We had a wonderful stay at Yokikan. My husband especially loved the outdoor hot springs — it was one of the highlights of our trip. Staying here was a truly special experience and gave us a real sense of Japanese culture.
All the staff were very kind, attentive, and took great care of us. The owner also kindly drove us back to the station when we checked out, which we really appreciated.
The garden was beautiful, with a small waterfall and lovely koi fish. We will remember this stay for a long time!"

All the staff at the hotel were really friendly, theres a public onsen (indoor and rotenba) on lvl 2, and a lvl 6 rooftop footbath. Both days breakfast were delicious. Definitely will revisit the place when i come back to nishiizu.
Bus from shuzenji stops right infront of the hotel, traveling back to main town is convienient too.

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I barely ran into any staff or other guests during check-in or throughout the hotel, which made it feel very quiet, almost a bit eerie due to the lack of people. I walked to the hotel from the shopping street, and it was a very steep hill. With the rain and my luggage, it was quite a struggle on foot. I'd recommend a taxi if you're not driving. It's very close to the station, so using a ride-sharing app makes getting around super smooth. Apparently, there are bugs in the summer. Personally, I was delighted that there was a ping-pong table. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance!

The next day of the Atami trip with my daughter, I returned to the harbor from the outlying islands. The room booked has an open-air hot spring. The room is very beautiful, Western-style double bed, Japanese-style dining table with exquisite pastries. The balcony has an open-air hot spring bath, which is very Japanese classic. It was almost dusk when I arrived at the hotel. The uncle greeted at the door was very enthusiastic to help with the luggage. The reception aunt was also very enthusiastic to talk about everything and amiable. Dinner is very grand Japanese-style set food, fresh and delicious ingredients! Breakfast is also Japanese-style, nutritious, delicious, and beautiful ice cream 🍧 sweet food, very delicious. Although there is an open-air hot spring in the room, the reception aunt still introduced the open-air windy hot spring bar on the top floor. On the hot summer night, there is a hot spring in the open air. It is very relaxing and the tiredness of a day's journey! The next day, the hotel uncle's car was sent to the ”Izu Saga” station. A high-quality rest place during the trip, will come again next time ✌️

A very special experience, family hotel, tatami room, hot spring, meals are all available, very clean, warm service can also provide station pick-up. Although dinner was not booked in advance, the store still prepared it carefully. The location is a bit biased, but the lake view is outside the window. It may not be the peak tourist season now, and there are fewer shops for fewer tourists around.
