Pros. Easy walk to gate 79. Less congested that clock tower area. The advantage to the stay was having pretty large room! The 2 queen beds are relatively big enough and they added an extra bed for my teenage girl.
Convenience. Ratio cafe downstairs can be hyped for. The pistachio latte is a must have. Romansiah restaurant also in the building. A must have when you’re here. Close walk to Dawood.
Food selection need to be improved both bf and dinner. If you’re particular abt food, Hyatt Regency Jabal Omar serves better spread and standard. Staff checkedin didn’t inform the 2 different restaurants for both bf and dinner G floor and M floor. Apparently we were directed wrongly by them assuming we are group agency and the food was low quality 3 star standard. Then went around asking but found out we were directed wrongly by the front desk. Range was bit better but still need improvement for a 5 star hotel.
I think the major improvement the hotel has to do is change the bath towels!! They are so overly worn off and overly used and looked like it’s been used to clean the floors. Pls use fluffy maintained towels. It’s the highlight of quality for amenities. The drainage also slow and tend to choke up. 7 nights isn’t the best there but the space is good.
I was on a business trip to Saudi Arabia and stayed at a luxury hotel in Jeddah. I think it was a very good hotel with excellent value for money; I would highly recommend it.
Very disappointing experience at Jeddah Corniche Hilton. At 3 a.m. during check-out, I asked the receptionist for a bottle of water for my 2-year-old toddler and was told to go buy it from a mini market. This lack of basic care and empathy is unacceptable and far below the standards expected from the Hilton brand
We stayed at InterContinental Jeddah for three nights over New Year’s Eve, expecting a special experience, but unfortunately the service was mediocre and underwhelming.
Despite contacting the hotel two weeks in advance and receiving confirmation, the room was not prepared for three people upon arrival. Communication with reception and housekeeping was disappointing. An additional bed had to be requested twice, and when it finally arrived it was set up with a questionable brown blanket instead of proper white bedding. It took further effort to have it corrected. We also had to repeatedly ask for an extra towel for the third guest. The instant service phone line was constantly busy, forcing us to walk to reception multiple times. Even basic items like bath gel dispenser were not refilled, we had to call.
Guest Relations contacted us via WhatsApp to ask about our stay, but after we responded, there was no reply at all—it appeared to be an automated message.
Reception staff were forgetful and not proactive, despite the reception never being particularly busy during our stay. When asking about New Year’s Eve events, no one mentioned or attempted to upsell the hotel’s own buffet or any other activities. We only discovered the daily buffet (available until 1 a.m.) later when speaking directly with restaurant staff. There was also no information provided about Africa Cup screenings.
On a positive note, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the breakfast staff were the only truly attentive and professional team members throughout our stay. Particular thanks to the Egyptian(?) manager and his team.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but the service level does not currently reflect the InterContinental brand, especially for a holiday stay.
The place is so beautiful, the staff is very high, the elephant was clean, the space is beautiful, the facilities are also very comfortable, and my experience with them was very special, and it wouldn't be the last.
