Every year when I come to Xiamen, I stay at the Swiss Grand for a few days, and this is my fourth time. What attracts me most to the Swiss Grand is its excellent location and rooms directly facing Gulangyu Island. I have to say, the Swiss Grand meets all my needs for a trip to Xiamen. First, let's talk about the location. It's situated in the heart of Siming District, right next to Zhongshan Road. You can walk to Bashi Market, the Botanical Garden, and Xiamen Ferry Terminal. Taking a taxi to Nanputuo Temple, Shapowei, the Twin Towers, and Xiamen University is always just the starting fare. The Exit to the hotel is also the starting station of Metro Line 1, which goes directly to Gaoqi Airport. Then there's the room facing Gulangyu Island – it's absolutely unbeatable! It completely matches my aesthetic. Whenever I sit by the floor-to-ceiling window in my room, enjoying the beautiful Gulangyu Island opposite, with a cup of black tea, I feel utterly content. What's even more impressive is that the room is very spacious, well-equipped, and the quality is consistently high. It offers excellent value for money! The breakfast is very rich, with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options, plus local specialties – you name it, they have it, and it all tastes great. The service is excellent; the greeters at the entrance are very attentive. The front desk was a bit ordinary, but customer service responded promptly and was always helpful. The only slight drawback was the slow check-in process. This might be due to the hotel being fully booked during the Chinese New Year holiday, but it also reflects that the hotel doesn't have good solutions for handling such surges in guests. We waited over an hour to check in, and at that time, one guest had waited three hours and still hadn't gotten into their room, and ended up arguing with the front desk... This had a very negative impact on the hotel's image. I hope they can further improve their management during holidays!

Extremely satisfied! The guesthouse owner personally escorted us to our room and gave us a detailed introduction to the local attractions and dining options, especially how to get to the beach and the best way to walk there. What's most noteworthy is how close the guesthouse is to the sea; you just walk out of the complex, cross the road, and you're there. The beach is beautiful; at sunset, the sea is bathed in a golden glow, even the waves shimmer with gold, and there are many small birds foraging on the sand. Strolling along the beach, chasing the waves 🌊, I was completely enchanted. In the evening, going clamming is an excellent choice, and the guesthouse thoughtfully provides tools and sand toys for kids free of charge. This trip was a bit rushed, so next time, I'll definitely make sure to set aside more time to play!

The newly opened Atour hotel truly exceeded expectations! The room was spotless, the environment quiet and comfortable, and the service warm and attentive. The free airport shuttle service was a thoughtful touch, making it super convenient for travelers with early morning flights. The location is great, parking is free, and the overall experience was fantastic, offering excellent value for money. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation near the airport. Full marks!

The room was really comfortable! The bedding was spotless, and the location is right by Zhongshan Road, directly across from Gulangyu Island. You can't see the island from inside the room, though. The room was spacious enough and very clean. On the second day, I switched to a twin room, and from that direction, there was construction noise starting early in the morning, a constant rumbling. When I asked the manager, they said the window wasn't sealed properly. Anyway, that twin room wasn't good at all, and it was 80 yuan more expensive than the twin room on the second floor!

Returning after sixteen years, I arrived at 1 AM to find only one young lady at the front desk. The main door was a bit stiff, but she quickly came over to help me with my luggage and open it. The room layout and amenities were fine, but a special note for those traveling with seniors: the bed is a bit elevated for the view. Although there are warning lights, I still stumbled on the first night. The view and breakfast have always been the hotel's strong points. From the room, you can see both Zhongshan Road and Gulangyu Island. It can be noisy from the street, but thankfully, closing the door provides excellent sound insulation. The housekeeping lady was incredibly enthusiastic. As a long-time employee of sixteen years, she clearly has a lot of affection for the hotel. She even thoughtfully opened the drying rack when she saw me hanging clothes. She deserves a five-star review! The breakfast offering shark fin is rare, and the 'Mianxian Hu' (vermicelli paste) was absolutely superb! The Eggs Benedict was also the best I've ever had! Zhongshan Road is right outside the door.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! It's right next to bus stops and a subway station, with direct subway access to the Shaanxi History Museum. Super convenient for tourists. The lobby has a stylish, vintage vibe and even thoughtfully provides a printer and computer, so you don't have to worry about urgent work tasks. The laundry room and gym are conveniently located near the guest rooms, accessible anytime, making things super easy and hassle-free. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, giving me great peace of mind. What really stood out was the front desk service – always greeted with a warm smile and attentive, making you feel right at home. My stay was incredibly pleasant, whether for leisure or business, I'd highly recommend it without hesitation. Definitely no regrets!

A very satisfying stay! The lobby is spacious and bright, and they even show cartoons for kids. The hotel's cheese service was very thoughtful, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Parking is free, and they kindly offered a late check-out for my room. The facilities are comprehensive, and the bed is very comfortable. They also offer a free airport shuttle service, making it super convenient for travel. Highly recommend! They provided tools for digging in the sand at the beach, which the kids loved, and breakfast was excellent. Although I didn't use the swimming pool, the shallowest part is 0.9m, so it's suitable for children.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. Right downstairs, bus route 51 takes you directly to Dongdu Ferry Terminal, which has the most frequent departures to Gulangyu Island. Along the way, you can also see Bailuzhou Park and the Xiamen Municipal Government building if you want to explore the city. The hotel is also directly across from the ferry terminal, making it super easy to return to the hotel from Gulangyu. Just walking down the road from the hotel's parking entrance leads straight to Ba Shi (the Eighth Market), where you'll find tons of delicious breakfast options. The hotel staff were warm and attentive, responding quickly to our requests, and even provided welcome fruit and snacks. Our room offered stunning views of Gulangyu Island, with beautiful scenery both day and night. One evening, it rained, and as the raindrops hit the floor-to-ceiling window, illuminated by the lights of the boats at sea, they looked just like a meteor shower. The room was clean and hygienic. Being close to the sea, it could get a bit humid with the window open, but the air conditioning's dehumidifying function easily solved that. The only minor issue was a slight smell from the drainpipe at night, which was perfectly remedied by closing the sink stopper and adding a bit of water to create a water seal.
