"We were looking for a hotel with an ocean view in Bayuquan Shanhai Square and this one immediately caught our eye. Our stay here far exceeded our expectations! The location is absolutely perfect; you can walk to the beach in just two or three minutes. It's so convenient to head downstairs and enjoy clam digging, and the hotel even provides complimentary buckets and shovels for guests. Our ocean-view room was incredibly spacious and bright, with a private balcony offering expansive views. We could literally watch the entire sunset over the ocean from our bed. The room was meticulously clean, and we appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, the comfortable mattress, and the full set of branded toiletries. The breakfast buffet each morning was abundant and fresh, with a great variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. Zoe provided excellent service. Parking and dining were also very convenient. This hotel offers incredible value for money and is definitely our top choice for a seaside getaway in Bayuquan. We'll be staying here again for our next beach trip and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing ocean-view vacation!"

Despite its central location, the room was surprisingly quiet, though I could hear some late-night noise from the adjacent room. The room itself was well-equipped, and relatively clean and tidy. Coming back to the hotel after a day out was a real treat. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of options served in an elegant restaurant. It's also very close to the metro station."

"This stay was fantastic! Special shout-out to Panpan at the front desk! The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The hygiene details were well-maintained, and the facilities were complete, with smooth water flow in the bathroom. "My main purpose for this trip to Dalian was to watch a match at the Suoyuwan Stadium, so I chose the Novotel Dalian Zhongshan Square. From my hotel room, I could see the entire stadium in the distance.
The hotel rooms are located on floors 30 and above. There are a few smaller hotels on floors below 30. Although they share the same building, they don't affect each other! The elevators are shared with the Meilun Hotel, but the Meilun's lobby is on the 58th floor, so again, no mutual impact!
**Facilities:** I booked a standard twin room on the 35th floor. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities. The shower, in particular, had excellent water pressure. The bedding and linens were clean and hygienic, which I was most satisfied with 👍👍. The soundproofing in the room was also good, ensuring a quiet and peaceful sleep.
**Environment:** The hotel boasts a superior location in the city center, making it convenient for dining and shopping. Downstairs, several seafood stalls are quite famous locally, and the food is indeed delicious. The Times Square next door offers various luxury brands, perfect for a stroll after dinner.
**Service:** As for the hotel's breakfast, the variety was rich and the quality was excellent. The staff were warm and attentive, efficiently replenishing food and clearing plates, demonstrating a high level of professionalism 👍👍.
In summary, my stay was a great experience. I will definitely choose Novotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it to friends visiting Dalian!"

EmmylliaMaybe i was highly expecting for a hotel lime others Hard Rock Hotel. But this one is just okay. My room is ocean view but its not a private beach for the hotel. Cant swim at the beach. But many activities that you can do on it.
The breakfast was great. There are so many selections that i can eat for a Muslim.
The room is clean with full amenities.
Btw , at night i ordered Fish&Chips & also brownies with icecream.But it so bland. The fries not cooked well & the brownies is not hot & hard. Not recommended.
They also have live band at night.
The water pressure in the room also low.

The hotel is located right on Xinghai Bay, and its castle-like architecture is grand and magnificent. The room was spacious and bright, with unbeatable sea views – I could see the blue sea and sky right from my window every morning. The service was impeccable, from the concierge to the room staff, truly reflecting Marriott's high-end brand standards. It's also conveniently located next to Xinghai Square, making getting around very easy. During check-out, Dansey asked about my stay and resolved any issues very well. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking quality!

I chose Fraser Suites Dalian for my business trip this time, and it was a fantastic experience. The one-bedroom apartment had a well-designed layout, complete with all necessary appliances, and the hygiene was impeccable. There's a mall right downstairs and the subway is very close, making commuting and dining incredibly convenient. The apartment building offers a 24-hour front desk, and Archer provided excellent service. With a gym and swimming pool, it's quiet and not noisy, perfect for both work and relaxation. It's suitable for both short and long stays, making it an ideal choice for business travelers.

This stay exceeded our expectations! The hotel was clean and fresh throughout, with no strange smells in the room. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and the staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. It was very family-friendly for staying with kids; the room had ample space for activities, and safety details were well thought out. The staff were very kind to our little one and even offered children's amenities proactively. The hotel is conveniently located near various facilities, making it easy to entertain the kids. Guest UserThe room was quite spacious, and the surroundings were relatively quiet. The sea view room offered a beautiful vista, with trees, green spaces, yachts, buildings, and a cross-sea bridge, making it a more dynamic and interesting sea view than just the horizon. Compared to the Grand Hyatt, it offers better value for money. However, some details don't quite meet five-star standards, such as the lack of a swimming pool. On the plus side, the service attitude was excellent, and Keke from the front desk was particularly understanding and accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. If I'm ever staying near Xinghai Square again, I'd definitely choose this hotel. The sea view here is much more varied and less monotonous than a simple sea-and-sky horizon. Xinghai Park is very close by; it was fantastic to spend the morning playing on the beach there, then come back to the room for a shower, make some tea, and just relax while admiring the sea view.

A beautiful apartment with a view of the fishing port. The terrace, sunny all day, is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and relaxing. The apartment is very stylish, a blend of industrial and romantic elements. Everything is very well-equipped, and the location is peaceful. The service is excellent, with a very professional approach to our requests. The resident dog is a real bonus. Very friendly, he's the hotel's mascot. The included breakfast was delicious and prepared entirely to order. The surrounding area is fantastic, with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fresh seafood and fish right at the port, barbecue-style. An excellent restaurant completes the experience, just two minutes from the hotel.

The sea view at Grand Hyatt Dalian is definitely the best in the city, situated right on Xinghai Square, with the beach just a short walk downstairs. The fan-shaped layout ensures almost every room has a sea view, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Xinghai Bay Bridge. The evening lights create a fantastic atmosphere. The heated pool offers great views, allowing you to enjoy the seascape even while swimming. The 'Chef's Table' buffet has a rich variety, especially with a good selection of seafood and desserts. The overall service was proper, and check-in efficiency was acceptable. The only minor drawbacks are that the hotel has been open for many years, so some facilities show a bit of age, and during peak season, breakfast can get crowded, requiring a wait for a table. If you're coming to Dalian and want to experience the city's premier sea view, the Grand Hyatt remains an excellent choice. You can enjoy the entire bay from the comfort of your bed, making for a very pleasant vacation experience.

The hotel's硬件 (hardware) is well-maintained, and it boasts a prime C-position sea view of Donggang. Although it shares a building with the Hilton, each has its own entrance, preventing it from getting overly noisy due to accommodating two hotels simultaneously. Maggie from the Guest Relations Department called me in advance and added me on WeChat, consistently helping to improve my stay experience throughout. Furthermore, an unexpected room upgrade during the Mid-Autumn Festival was a pleasant surprise. The executive lounge's à la carte service during off-peak seasons and no à la carte on holidays goes against the usual hotel model, but it does reduce waiting times for meals during holiday periods. Overall, the experience exceeded expectations.

Honestly, the rooms themselves were really great. Both rooms had windows directly facing the sea, and each was beautifully decorated. The living room even had a ball pit and a climbing/jumping area for kids, which our child loved. There was also a circular nook where you could sit and watch projections. However, one of the rooms started to smell really bad in the early hours of the morning, like a foul odor. Opening the window didn't help at all.
Regrettably, the whole guesthouse had a dilapidated feel to it. Right from the moment we got out of the car, we noticed the exterior was a bit grubby, and the front desk/lobby felt rather cheap. When we went to check out the beach from the lobby, we found the stairs and terrace looked like they hadn't been maintained in years. The terrace was very basic, with many cigarette butts overflowing in the ashtrays and not cleaned. The spiral staircase I'd seen in photos online for Instagram was also broken and dirty. The beach itself was rocky, a bit smelly, and had some trash. There was also a layer of scum on the sea, like the kind you see when blanching ribs. There were some past campers still around, but honestly, I don't understand how anyone would have the courage to go in the water. In summary, the room design and the sea view from the windows were genuinely good, but there was almost no external amenities or upkeep. It felt neglected and unmaintained, which is a real shame.

Guest UserI booked late, so I could only get a Quiet Room. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent. The front desk service was also good. This hotel has been open for many years. There are private rooms upstairs and a buffet downstairs. It's very close to the beach, and the Tongniu Mountain Scenic Area is right next to it. Overall, it was a great experience.
