Ocean View Hotels in Taiwan, China

The hotel rooms are spacious and well-appointed. However, most of the wooden floorboards creak when walked on, the pillows are a bit firm, and the duvet is quite thick. I stayed on the 23rd floor this time, and the view directly overlooking the harbor and sea was incredibly pleasant. The hotel is also conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from both the MRT and light rail stations.

Superb hotel close to a secluded beach. Room are spacious enough for a small family and cleanliness is on top too. Much recommended as a gateway near hualien, for a peaceful time with a great scenery around.

In recent years, there has been a new weather in the decoration. The room is very good. After checking in, change the slippers to the beach for two minutes. Enjoy the sunset and listen to the sound of the tide. It is really great! ! !

The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Each time we returned to the guesthouse, it truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to its very comfortable environment. Xiao Liuqiu's scorching sun had us almost melting, but stepping back into the guesthouse always brought instant, refreshing coolness! And from the balcony, we could even enjoy a distant sea view – absolutely fantastic!

It is a nice place to stay. Location is good for night market & near the bus stop (in front & opposite of the police station). Can rent Youbike which few minutes walk from hotel. Must try the ice taro balls at the night market. Miss it very much 🤤🤤🤤. P/s: there are 2 Kenting Hostels with different locations but nearby…make sure you go to the right one 😊

The location is incredibly convenient, and the hotel facilities are excellent. A night market is right next door, which is a fantastic bonus. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, making it a great spot for both couples and families. I will definitely be returning. The staff were also incredibly polite.

The hotel is located on the mountain, facing Pacific sea veiw and near the Ocean Park. The decoration is grand and very classy British style , e.g. the lobby and restaurants, . The room is above the average. The facilities are average.

Love the vibe of the hotel. It was a bit confusing in the beginning as they taxi driver dropped us at a dead end road. But once we saw the hotel, we were in awe. The once abandoned warehouse looked well renovated. We got the terrace quadruple loft. It was a nice space for 2 adults and 2 kids (below 5yo). The room was well decorated and feels luxurious. Kids definitely love the loft and the bath tub. The cons about the room were: - when people goes up and down the loft, it is a little noisy. - there’s no day curtain, so we didn’t dare to open the windows too wide (people outside probably can see us) - since the location is very close to the KLR station, you can hear the train passing by (just slightly) Hotel facilities are okay. There’s no breakfast but the reception has a google maps of food (breakfast brunch etc) nearby. Staff are polite and friendly. The reception is 24/7 i think, there’s 2 laundry rooms with 1 washing machine and dryer each. Both are coin operated and you can to purchase the laundry pods from the reception. There’s snacks in the lobby, water dispenser for cold, warm and hot water on every floor. The location is right in front of the Kaohsiung Light Rail Line Penglai Pier 2 station. Easy to hop on, just need 20NTD coins. It’s close to the Hamasen Museum of Taiwan Railway and Pier2 art centre (where Wooderful land is). The area is surprisingly quiet and close to a few children playgrounds. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would enjoy coming back to this hotel again.

Awesome housing experience. The location is excellent, and it takes less than a minute to walk to South Bay Beach. The room is big, the bathroom is big, and the most important thing is that it is clean. The bed is very soft and hard. It is definitely the first choice next time I go to Kenting

When we arrived at the hotel that night, we asked the receptionist to help us check in, but the receptionist asked us to check in on the machine ourselves. As a result, we had to shuttle back and forth between the two buildings without being able to check in. Later, we returned to the previous one. At the counter, I asked the lady to check in. She said there might be something wrong with the machine, dizzy😵💫. In addition, I booked a room for two people and a room for one person, a total of two rooms. When the receptionist gave us the key card, she did not tell us that the room was a large one and a small room. It was not until the next day that I found out that the two people lived in a small room. Room, I think she should tell us about this. Two people can live in a large room without being so crowded. There was also no drinking water in the room, and the front desk staff didn't tell them in advance. Later, we called to inquire and found out that it was on the first floor. The hotel should have let passengers know this in advance, but they didn't. This was a terrible travel experience.
