If you like to keep fit or need to get fit - then this is a perfect hotel for that - as you can integrate it into your trip whether it be for business or holiday. If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. They leave you presents in the room, have all the free drinking water you need, free apples, just excellent welcome feeling. They go as far as pointing the shower head to the side everytime they clean the room so you don't get wet when you turn on the shower. More expensive and luxurios hotels have a lot to learn from these guys. Just excellent.

The design of the hotel is very unique. It is located on Nanbinhe Road, very close to the Yellow River. The hotel room size is OK, the bed is soft and comfortable, which is good. I am quite satisfied with it. The Yellow River is just ahead of the hotel. It is very close to the center of Lanzhou, only seven or eight minutes' walk for one kilometer. The breakfast is simple but tastes really good. The best for this China trip for me. The hotel also has a free pickup and dropoff service from/to Dunhuang Airport and Dunhuang Railway Station. One of a few drawbacks for me is the shower room design. I mean construction wise, not decoration wise. Even though there is a circumference groove on the shower room floor to drain water, the swinging glass shower door leaves space at the bottom, causing water to spill outside and pool on the floor. The floor is marbled so it could be slippery. Another is that even though I had the hotel's WeChat account and had tried to contact them, as I thought I would be able to use the translation function on the app, I was not able to reach anyone or get any response.
