Amazing decision to go to Yinchuan for Dragon Boat Festival since it has the best weather and the cleanest city in China. Kempinski in this city is one of the best. The hotel is in the middle of the city, so there are multiple destinations to tour. For my trip, I did not go to the sand dune area. I focused on the ride share to the touristy movie film park snd neighboring theme town. The hotel is also near the growing 801 Creative Park, Night Market, and just a walk from the Ningxia Museum. So many more local and traditional spots. Bring an extra shopping bag.
The hotel has a great view of their master plan development, delicious food options from the cafe to the German restaurant, and coffee/tea lobby lounge.
The staff is bilingual and the grounds are immaculately clean. Sleeping and facilities really comfortable. Nicest locals all around.
Thank you for a great stay.

Having stayed at the Sheraton Sanya last summer, I continued my choice of Sheraton for this trip to Yinchuan. The service quality remains consistently excellent, and I had a truly wonderful experience. This visit was during peak season, and unfortunately, we had to switch rooms for our two-night stay. The young lady at the front desk, a member of an ethnic minority group, was incredibly patient, charming, and had a fantastic attitude. Later, customer service directly arranged our luggage transfer when we changed rooms, so we didn't have to handle it ourselves. We simply went out for the day, and upon our return, our luggage was already perfectly placed in our new room. The customer service team was also very quick to respond.
Regarding the Executive Benefits: The executive lounge is convenient for grabbing a bite to eat, though its offerings aren't particularly unique. However, the young lady providing service there was exceptionally enthusiastic – big thumbs up! She was practically an ambassador for Ningxia tourism, haha. Also, the twin room was very spacious!
This hotel is nice and the ramen for breakfast is delicious. Guyuan is a good place with many places to visit and relics around it. The Guyuan Museum is better than the Ningxia Museum. The only drawback is that the weather is a bit dry.
The facilities are relatively new, the environment is good, the hygiene is clean and tidy, the service is warm and thoughtful, and most importantly, when Guyuan is already very cold in autumn, Taihe Hotel is warm and comfortable, making people very relaxed. It is recommended to stay.

I traveled to Yinchuan and stayed in a hot spring hotel for one night. I chose this scenic spot. There are two hotels. The cheaper one is generally decorated, and the main building is more luxurious. Now it is off-season, and there are no activities in the whole scenic area, and there are not many people. I am a little uncomfortable living in Guangdong. But the hot spring area is very good, and there are many children's amusement facilities. You can't find this price in Guangdong. I think this is a must-visit place when traveling to Yinchuan. Next to it is the Zhenbeibao scenic spot. This hot spring hotel must be recommended.
It's a pity that I can't see snow this time, but it's really cool to soak in the hot spring outdoors.
In addition, I like that the hotel sent fruit milk at night, and there are hot water barrels for foot bathing, which is really good.
We booked a Deluxe Cabin and a King Cabin for two nights, traveling as a family of four plus two elders. Upon check-in, we discovered they offered a butler-like service, which wasn't mentioned on Ctrip but was a pleasant surprise. Requests were responded to very quickly, almost instantly. The twin beds in the Deluxe Cabin could be combined to form a super king bed, perfect for families. Right outside our cabin door was sand, which the kids absolutely loved and played in all the time. Shared sand-digging tools were also available. Golf carts were provided for transfers within the resort, which was very convenient.
There are two restaurants: the 'Panorama Restaurant' on the second floor in Zone A, offering dune views, and the 'Star Restaurant' in Zone B. Breakfast, dinner, and late-night snacks were all complimentary. The Panorama Restaurant served a Chinese and Western buffet for dinner, while the Star Restaurant offered mini hot pot. It seemed the Panorama Restaurant was exclusively for guests who booked higher-category rooms; guests in other room types needed to pay an extra fee. Personally, however, I preferred the mini hot pot at the Star Restaurant and felt no need to visit the Panorama Restaurant, but that's a matter of personal preference. The late-night snack was noodles, which could even be delivered to our room – a very thoughtful touch that showed great hospitality. These complimentary dinner and late-night snack benefits were also not listed on Ctrip but were indeed provided.
The hotel offered shuttle service to and from the activity zone, though a transfer at Star Coffee was required. Stargazing at night was also fantastic, but since I visited in early September, it was still a bit chilly in the evenings, so I recommend wearing a long coat.
The only downsides were that some golf cart drivers weren't very friendly, perhaps due to heavy workloads. Also, the complimentary amenities in each room varied. One room had neck gaiters, arm sleeves, and shoe covers, while the other lacked arm sleeves but had raincoats and umbrellas, which I found a bit confusing. Moreover, for extended stays, these amenities are supposed to be replenished daily, but ours were not refilled. However, we could pick them up at Star Coffee for free.
Overall, I still highly recommend this place. It's definitely worth bringing children here for a unique experience. Special thanks to our two butlers, Li Peixin and Zhou Jinxin, for their thoughtful service. Five-star rating!
💯Tengol Desert Resort in Zhongwei
The hotel's buildings and the desert are combined naturally👌, the open-air bar and the desert swimming pool are very Moroccan-style... I was struggling whether to book a tent hotel before, but finally proved that I made the right choice. The back door of the hotel is the desert, and it is very convenient for children to dig sand! The hotel is very unique, and those who love taking pictures must not miss it😆, which is really a good choice.
We encountered a sandstorm when we arrived that day, and the temperature was only 0 degrees. I was originally very cold, but since I came here, no matter how cold it is🥶, I can't resist the desire to take pictures! [Smiled], black plus a white vest, slightly set off the gray sky. Although the weather is not good, I didn't expect to take a doomsday desolate tone. At night🎑, although I couldn't see the bright Milky Way, I saw the twinkling stars anyway.
The hotel room is very good, and the room is very well sealed and warm. I especially recommend the hotel's entertainment: UTV off-road vehicles, which are too exciting [laughing and crying R]. Among the three types of entertainment vehicles, it is definitely the most worthwhile!
🍺 In addition, the bar offers Roosevelt No. 6 beer and the owner's own cold brew coffee, which can be taken away or taken to the restaurant for dining. The coffee tastes great. I prefer ”Yellow River Blend” ☕️. You can ask for a glass of grape juice at the hotel front desk, which is delicious.
The weather cleared up the next day. I felt that I could take pictures no matter how I took them. The black and earth-colored walls matched very well. The hotel staff was working hard to clean up the outdoor area after the violent sandstorm the day before. If the weather is good, the outdoor bar should be very beautiful at night.
I wanted a room with a bathtub and wanted to stay for 2 nights, but it showed there was one room left, so I called to inquire. Only then did I realize that the Ctrip pictures did not match the rooms on the 5th floor. The hotel has guest rooms on the 5th and 6th floors, and the rest are bathing centers. Only the king-bed rooms have bathtubs on the 6th floor, but not on the 5th floor. Then you should not show that there is a bathtub in the picture. Fortunately, I called for consultation and later booked a deluxe suite. To be honest, I was not surprised at all. I originally wanted to book it for 2 nights, but the room was not available the next day and was booked as a wedding room. The facilities are average, the rain shower head is flying, and there is no small shower head that can be taken down. Water pressure is very low. It didn't reflect the word luxury, so I changed to a double room the next day. The double room was fully equipped, and the shower room had a large amount of water and a small shower. The quality is better than that of deluxe suites, so as a reference, if you don’t have a requirement for room size, just book a double bed room. The facilities and environment are better than those in deluxe suites. The only bright spot is that the bath is very good. The service girls in the steam room are very good. Be patient with children. The hotel front desk service is just that, don't have high expectations. However, the service attitude of the front desk who was on duty after 3 a.m. on the 15th was very good.

Hotel location is very good to find, just on the roadside, the parking lot in front of the hotel is not only large, but also the parking space planning is reasonable, parking is completely free of pressure. The environment inside and outside the hotel is clean and tidy, the decoration is high-grade, and the overall feeling is very comfortable. Stayed for two nights, both accommodation and breakfast were very satisfied. Come down to Yinchuan, will choose this hotel.
