__WeChat41221****My expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

TTangtangDonnaThis weekend, I booked a package through Ctrip, and the hotel upgraded us to a suite with two large beds. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is located in a wetland conservation area, which is very quiet and well-preserved ecologically. Standing on the balcony, I saw little squirrels scurrying across the roof and various birds chirping. The breakfast was very extensive, and the Chinese cuisine showcased the chef's excellent skills. The hotel's service was fantastic; they were very responsive to all our requests. The hotel also offers rowboats for guests to explore Xixi Wetland, as well as travel photography services. All in all, our two-night, three-day stay was very fulfilling. I highly recommend experiencing it. I forgot my charger when I left, and the hotel promptly contacted us to mail it back. Thank you! 🙏

GGuest UserThe hotel will assign a butler to you who will answer any of your queries. However, it will be nice if Butler Fan can tell us his working hours so that we will not disturb him unnecessary. We asked counter some queries and they forwarded to the butler to answer us. The next day, we didnt hear from him when we want to check out. The counter staff accompanied us all the way to the exit of the scenic area l, helped us with the luggages and waited with us for the taxi to come. Excellent service! The rooms are clean and renovated. The spa next door comes with 20% discount for in-house guest. Nice to book the foot massage after long walks exploring the town. It is quite popular among the visitors. The hotel breakfast is very delicious too.

GGuest UserOur stay at Naked Stables was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable for our whole family. We travelled as a family of six, including two elderly members and two kids, and the resort was perfect for all ages.
There were plenty of engaging activities to keep everyone happy — from fishing, pottery, and crafts to outdoor experiences. The kids especially loved the horse riding and grooming sessions, which were thoughtfully organised and very safe.
We stayed in a three-bedroom villa, which was luxurious, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom having its own bathtub was such a treat. The villa was beautifully decorated, and we were deeply touched by the thoughtful surprise of decorations and cakes arranged for our son’s birthday — a gesture that made our stay extra special.
Getting around the resort was effortless, as the buggy service promptly picked us up from the villa whenever we needed. We also loved having a lovely hiking trail right outside our villa, perfect for a peaceful morning.
Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the noodle station was a definite highlight for us. A special mention goes to Chuan Chuan the resident dog— friendly, gentle, and absolutely adored by our kids.
Every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness, making our stay both relaxing and joyful. We left with beautiful memories and cannot wait to return to Naked Stables again. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, nature, and meaningful experiences.

**Check-In Experience:**
We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.
**Room for Improvement:**
While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.
**Final Thoughts:**
This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.

A special shout-out to Ms. Xu Fangyu; she was incredibly patient, guided us, and explained everything very clearly. I will definitely be back to stay at this hotel and will recommend it to my friends and family. Very good service and good hospitality! When we were lost, we called the hotel, and their response was amazing. They helped us find our way, and their response was efficient and professional. GGuest UserThe room was clean and had an expansive lake view. It's a very convenient location if you're only visiting West Lake. However, the breakfast service was subpar and chaotic. The breakfast at the Executive Lounge had limited options, so I paid extra for the breakfast on the first floor. We arrived at 9:30 AM, were seated by a staff member, and went to get food. When we came back, someone else (also seated by a staff member) had taken our table. Food replenishment was slow; there were no noodles, and omelets and congee took a long time to come out. There was basically nothing good to eat. My advice for anyone staying here on a weekend who wants breakfast is to wake up early, otherwise, you'll pay for nothing. 😕

MMieerxiThe hotel environment is lovely, and check-in was quite smooth. A dedicated butler even guided us to our room and explained the hotel's public facilities. However, I was surprised to find that all the USB outlets next to the table in the room were broken. The hotel later lent me a power adapter. This hotel is more suited for adults looking for relaxation; it's not ideal for families, as there are very few children's facilities. If you're traveling with kids, you'll need to explore nearby attractions. And as for the turndown service and turndown gift – let's just say they were almost non-existent and a bit laughable. The hotel explained it was due to environmental reasons, which was different from a similar experience I had in Nanjing. Overall, the hotel service is quite good. If I were with friends or older relatives, I'd happily stay cooped up in the hotel without going out. But with kids, I wouldn't specifically recommend it for a vacation here. If you don't want to go out, you'll pretty much just be watching TV in your room.
