The hotel is very conveniently located in the center of the old town and just under 10 mins walking distance. The check in service is top notch and reception speaks perfect English. The room was not ready until 3pm. I booked the hotel in advance through trip.com but end up paying a higher price as the hotel was at a reduced price one day before my arrival. Price match was not granted for me. The room is clean and nice but the simple request of having double bed instead of two single beds were not met even when I reserved in advance. And there is no view at all. Basic amenities and breakfast was nice.

All My wife and I stayed here for three nights in mid-September, ‘22. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it highly. It is a classic old hotel set right on the river, just across from the picturesque castle. One of the town bridges is just in front of the hotel, and the street leads to the castle in one direction and to the main part of the old town in the other. We found the location to be very convenient. A short distance away is another bridge with a walkway that leads to one of the town parking areas. It would be possible to reach the hotel with a small amount of luggage, but we opted to park and walk to the hotel before obtaining a town pass to drive to the front of the hotel with our luggage. If you then choose one of the hotel’s private parking options, which we did, someone from the hotel will guide you in another vehicle to your parking area and bring you back to the hotel. Be aware that even with a town pass you can’t drive in town from 10 am to 3 pm, which can complicate departure as well as arrival. We arranged for a taxi to pick us up with our luggage and take us to our car when we checked out to get around this. Our room (401) was on the corner of the top floor and likely an upgrade from our castle-view room. It was a very large suite with a bedroom area, a sitting area, a separate room with closet and storage area, and a huge tiled-bathroom with an enclosed alcove for the toilet. We had terrific views of the town, the river, and the castle from every room. The sleeping area had a comfortable king bed, a desk, sofa, tv cabinet, small round table with two chairs, nicely decorated a classical style. There was a single cup coffee maker that was very good. The closet wqs large, but had only and few hangers and the safe wasn’t operable. The bathroom had a pedestal sink with adequate counter space, and a shower/tub combo. Our only complaint about the room was that there were no heat controls and it was unseasonably chilly during our visit. Breakfast was a very good buffet with lots of fruit, cereals, baked goods, eggs, breakfast meats, etc. All in all, we highly recommend the Dvorak for comfort, location, and character.

I can’t flatter, the service is blunt or basically no service, it may be in the scenic area of CK town, anyway, the guests are constantly, at least I will not go to the second time, as of the time I sent this comment, the hotel did not refund the remaining deposit to me, almost 70 euros, The email was written in the past and it was equivalent to sinking the sea. If there is an advantage, it is that the hotel is at the entrance of the scenic spot and the transportation is convenient.

I stayed at my favorite hotel on this trip. Although it is 7-8 minutes away from the town, it saves the trouble of pushing luggage on the stone road. The hotel is small and exquisite. The rooms and bathrooms are large and clean. The front desk clerk is very enthusiastic and attentive, I would like to stay here for a few more days.

Window was high up the wall so unable to open. Bathroom is ultra modern but we only had a deep bathtub with a handheld shower head. Water went everywhere as there was no curtain or screen. Bathroom floor and towel rack was heated. The suites got coffee service but our double room had none. We did ask our guide for a kettle and teabags which we did get, but housekeeping never brought more after the first night. There was a radiator near the bed, but we found the room hot. Luckily we had a portable fan to use. Breakfast area is really small with limited options. Coffee machine only made espresso or cappuccino. Location was convenient for exploring the town. If you have a choice when reserving, go for one of the suites.

We asked for un extension to connect the night table lamp since there was not any plug. Surprise! They never come to help with it. The minibar was empty, we informed them and they said that we could ask for refreshment , water, etc in the restaurant. Fine, we arrived from the city one evening and they said that they could not provide any beverage since the restaurant was closed. So they had closed it two hours before without previous information. The breakfast… mmm, maybe just acceptable… A very unpleasant stay. It is not our first time in the city and in our previous visit we had gotten a beautiful pension, elegant, clean, everything fine for a much better price. Four stars??? Come on!!!

Since I live in the Czech Republic for more than 20 years, in the Czech Krumlov it was possible to be in the Czech Republic, but somehow all running, in a rush, rushing through the unmeasured militia of foreign tourists. And here suddenly the coronary virus and, as a consequence, the absence of foreigners, which means you need to take advantage of the situation and enjoy this town on the full program. Especially since the prices of hotels fell below nowhere. What to wait? I decided and went. 3 hours by bus from Prague and I am here!!! Whoa! Whoa! Booked a single room with breakfast, the price was 770 krone, when you arrived got a two-bedroom room and 100 krone cheaper. How? Small but pleasant. The room is very cozy, like the whole hotel, very stylish, in the spirit of the medieval century, it is visible that recently made reconstruction, cleanliness is perfect, perhaps the only complaint - little perfume in the bathroom. literally a small soap and 1 bag of shampoo. Way fai catches fine, TV programs are many, but the Russians didn't find (I really don't need, but if I came from Russia, I would certainly like) Breakfast is standard, but abundant, eggs, cooked eggs, sausages, sausages and ham, butter, waits, cheeses, yoghurts, tea, coffee, juice ... Staff friendly. The location of the hotel in the very center, the central one is nowhere, and the lock is hand-to-hand. The hotel is definitely recommended.

Our clients and I stayed in this hotel for one night in mid-May. The hotel charged us 2,400 CZK per single room (about $110), i.e. a 4-star hotel price in Prague. When we got in the rooms, there were cobwebs and dust in many places, some lightbulbs were not working. Our bathroom had hair on the floor… But the worst was yet to come. We were supposed to have a breakfast the next morning at 8 a.m. When I got downstairs a little after eight, our clients were standing there, completely in shock. The dinning room was dark and no breakfast was ready. I went in and found a sleeping waiter on the floor of the dinning room. When I eventually managed to wake him up, he seamed quite hungover and not exactly in the best shape. Since some of our clients stayed in Hotel Peregrin (the same management), we managed to get our clients there and they got some breakfast (mostly whatever was left from the guests in that hotel). When I wrote the owner/manager of the place a couple of days later, she refused to give us any money back, basically saying that we got the service we needed, i.e. a bed and a breakfast, even if it was “complicated”. Apparently, this is how these people imagine services should be in a place where they charge 4-star hotel prices. Absolutely terrible, I have never experienced such bad services and such terrible attitude. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS by staying at their hotel!

The hotel environment is in a good location. Breakfast is plentiful. The rooms are fully equipped.

If your goal is to play White Fort, I don't think any hotel can compare with Hotel Štekl. The hotel has spacious rooms, decent breakfast, and a gorgeous dinner cooked with heart! [Highlights] 1. You can play Baibao all day long, because you can get out of the room and it only takes 3 minutes! That's right, it's 3 minutes, whether you want to watch the sunrise, the sunset, or the various events that may be held in the castle at night, you can do whatever you want. 2. Dinner: delicious dinner, very decent, perfect service, price close to the people, is a good choice to taste Czech authentic cuisine! 3. Swimming pool: The swimming pool is small, but there are few people. The massage pool and a small swimming pool can be played for free. The paid items include sauna, billiards and bowling. Finally, as some pictures are provided, call the hotel.
