The service was really bad too. They didn't come to clean the room for several days straight afterwards, and when the tissue box ran out, they wouldn't bring new ones, telling me to go downstairs to the front desk to get them myself. They didn't even provide drinking water in the room.
In the centre of Willingen. All at walking distance. Hotel superbly clean. Beautiful rooms, good beds. Perfect shower. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
Sufficient parking opportunity.
No improvements.

We stayed here for 2 nights for the convenience of being close to the airport, as I had a long international flight to catch out of Frankfurt. The shuttle bus service from the airport was confusing as many buses were picking up from the same spot, but we eventually got it. The shuttle bus back to the airport was straightforward, one every 20 minutes. We particularly appreciated the service of the staff - the number of passengers who come through the door in crowds can be overwhelming, but they always stayed professional and calm. We had an issue with our first room, the air conditioning didn't work (it was 35C during the day) and they offered to change rooms for us. After another similar experience with the second room, they very generously upgraded us to a nicer room, and the air conditioning was much better. The beds were very good. Sadly, we didn't get to try their traditional German restaurant even though I really wanted to, as it was closed on the Sunday evening. The lady at the pool change rooms was very sweet and kind, she helped to show us how the lockers worked. The bar restaurant lady manager(?) was also very nice, she sat us at an outdoor table when we asked to change seats as it was very hot inside. Overall, we felt very well taken care of, and the service staff made up for the non-working a/c.
Room are large, bed is ok, but still a nice hotel and bar, staff are very friendly and supportive. Only downside is is there’s no combin promotion with kids stay for free at breakfast time which means will reduce amount of of families visiting.
All in all, it was good. The comfort room was big enough, as was the bathroom. However, the room was not cleaned, only the bed was made. The buffet area in the breakfast room is far too small. Otherwise, everything was there and it was constantly being refilled.
Great “getaway” for couples who are looking for the spa experience. My wife and I went to the Christmas market right down the street and had wonderful street food after spending most of the day in the sauna. What a wonderful hotel and a great experience.

__WeChat52883****This stay was such a pleasant surprise, I just have to rave about it after checking out! The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's close to a major transportation hub, which made it super convenient whether I was traveling for business with a packed schedule or exploring tourist spots. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so all my daily needs were easily met.

LLukas MariusI booked the room with breakfast but the hotel said it was 28euro per night extra so I didn’t use the breakfast but the breakfast according to my booking was included I feel cheated for my money with this. Booking a room for 168euro and includes breakfast for three then in the end I didn’t use the service since the service agent at the counter was not professional and told me it’s not including breakfast.
Also I tried to call the counter for the whole day and no one picked up the phone. Very disappointed and even though the location and room was great I will not be coming back due to this.
JJunieThe pool and sauna are not run by the hotel. Several other parties have also told me they experienced the same rudeness as myself.
The pool and sauna + gym are overrun with angry patrons (it is a paid health club shared with the hotel), all of whom despise hotel guests sharing their facilities. It is NOT a family friendly amenity at all.
The staff (swimming instructor) yelled at my toddler for using equipment adjacent the pool. There were no signs indicating this was not to be used by hotel guests.
When confronted, the man was extremely rude and obnoxious, stating the floaties were his and not for public or hotel use.
I pointed out there is no signage whatsoever.
The hotel itself, however, is exceptional.
Just dont use the pool area unless you want to be screamed at.

GGuest UserOne of 3 hotels directly linked by a pedestrian bridge to Frankfurt airport and also linked to the regional and local train station. This is a good quality hotel which works well if you are moving through Frankfurt airport. In the same complex is a small supermarket, a chemist and many food outlets. One floor up in the regional train station are three nice restaurants.
AAhmed TawatiGreat location grocery shopping very close
We missed the shuttle the hotel booked us a taxi to the airport
Comfortable beds and sound proof Windows’s
Definitely I will stay in when ever I have transit flight via Frankfurt
KKathrinHExcellent hotel with attentive staff and really good breakfast buffet. I usually stay here twice a year and I changed from staying at Sheraton-Marriott hotel at Frankfurt to Hilton Hotel as it is much newer and in better condition than Marriott and Sheraton.
LLee EanFor a room over €200 per night and rated 4 star, we expected the bathroom to have at least more than just a 3in1 shower gel. Wi-Fi did not work too until issue was brought up to reception, which only an additional set up instruction was given. Pillow was typical cheap with no support kinda German pillow. Unfortunately, we were allocated a room with adjoining balcony whereby cigarette smoke entered the room. Breakfast was good but staff were clearly not well trained. We like the complimentary waffles provided during our stay, but only when we step into restaurant and the staff asked if we’d like some. During check in, this info was communicated to the guest before us but not too us. Very inconsistent.
WWammmbatI intended to stay for consecutive nights but accidentally made two separate bookings. Fortunately, the staff handled the situation very professionally and allowed me to stay in the same room, which I greatly appreciated.
However, the room was not cleaned at all between the two stays. There were no fresh towels, the glasses and trash remained untouched, and only the bed had been made. To my surprise, I even found a cleaning rag under the desk. Given the condition of the room, I regretted not checking out and checking in again.
It was disappointing, especially since the staff service had been excellent.
MMuniz PedroIf I am in Frankfurt, I am staying here. I've sayed in this hotel many times over the last 22 years. I love it. Exceptional service, facilities, attention to detail, and cleanliness. Never let me down.
Fantastic breakfast buffet. Hot and cold dishes are plentiful and high-quality.
Steigenberger provides good quality hospitality consistency throughout their hotels in Germany. I stayed in many of them and never got disappointed.
